  1. Stayed at the Royal Pres. a few times and liked it.Never stayed at the Kingston Suites, but it looks good.Same company owns both so check out their other hotels too.... and they've got a promotion on at the mo. http://us8.campaign-archive2.com/?u=14a6e7d8377772eec05ac7afa&id=2820796bff&e=0ce0ebd75c
  2. Since you're arriving in November, you've got time to buy a sim before you go.Try getting one on E-Bay http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_sacat=0&_nkw=thai%20sim&_sop=15&_clu=2&_fcid=1&_localstpos&_stpos&gbr=1&_zpclkd=1

  4. You might be better off paying an extra 300baht a night for the extra comfort...... and peace of mind Places like Woraburi, etc. http://www.woraburi.com/woraburisukhumvit/rates.html#!/page_info
  5. A couple of years ago I stayed at World Inn on the same Soi.The taxi driver was unable to go down that soi due to the vendors and stalls which were set up on Sukhumvit. It didn't matter as it was just a short walk down to the hotel. Just hop out and walk....No biggie
  6. Stayed at both.Liked Royal President better.Stayed there 3 times. But you won't go wrong with either. Aspen Suites has a Better location Royal President has better rooms(suites anyway). And a tuk tuk to sukhumvit/BTS Have you considered Grand president on Soi 11?Best of both worlds!
  7. Last time I did that trip, not from Nana but from Aspen Suites on soi 2(Next soi down), it cost 350baht and took about 30 minutes. Get a metered taxi from Sukumvit if the ones on Soi 4 are quoting ridiculous prices.
  8. You've just made everyone on the forum hungry
  9. Stayed here a couple of times. The bigger rooms are nice, and it's a nice quiet location on Soi 2. Really close to Annie's. Shortcut to Soi 4,Turn right at Annie's and go through the car park in front of the Rajah Hotel, and you'll come out onto Soi4 near NP Aspen Suites
  10. I've eaten a few times at the German Bierhaus, and it's been good every time. Another option is the AussiePub on Soi 11 http://theaustralianbangkok.com/web/?page_id=18
  11. I've seen the Durex Play lube next to the condoms and KY in 7-11s/Family Marts
  12. If you can walk down to Foodland on Soi 5,there's Took Lae Dee(cheap & good)Restaurant. It's open 24/7.Everyone should try a meal here :) From 5:30am to 9am the breakfast is only 56baht(I think I paid 59B,who cares,eh!!) http://www.foodland.co.th/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=66&lang=en

  14. It's guest friendly. https://bkkguestfriendlyhotels.com/Two_Three_Mansion/index.htm The only gripe that most people seem to have is that the internet service isn't very good. On the good side though,if you check out the location of the hotel on a map you'll see it's very close to Soi Cowboy.
  15. I think it might be,as it sometimes comes through very very slowly on my computer, and then sometimes it's ok.
