I usually have fruit and coffee for breakfast but like to eat out occasionally. Best Value breakfast I've found is for 129 baht at the Red Lion Pub on Soi 13. Two eggs, 1 sausage, 1 back bacon, 1 streaky bacon, 2 hash browns, beans, mushrooms, half tomato, 1 white toast with butter and jam, orange juice, and coffee or tea.

They open promptly at 8 AM, which I can attest to because I see the entrance from my condo.

Another cheap breakfast is at Took Lae Dee, many locations, American Breakfast for 93 baht (84 baht between 6:30 AM and 9 AM).

I'd 2nd The Red Lion.

O' Shea's 'build your own' 7 item breakfast with tea/coffee for 199 is also great value. I find the quality of the food and the way it's cooked to be of a higher standard.

I had breakfast at Det5 on Soi 8 this morning. I had to wait around because they don't open until 11 AM. A 3-egg spinach and mushroom omlette (195 baht) and 75 baht for cappuccino. Service was really good, waitress brought wet towel even when it wasn't hot.

Hi all, I’m wondering if you know any breakfast spots along Sukhumvit (soi 4 - Soi 33) that serve Bircher muesli, granola toast sourdough etc. The bacon and eggs meal is just too much for me in the morning.

Try breakfast story. There are a few locations.

That's where I was this morning, off Soi 11, a converted shop house, it has a vertical orientation. The three egg omlette contained bacon, sausage, cheddar cheese, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, etc. with fried potato and toast. At 260 baht, it's twice the Red Lion's baht buster. Add a hot cappuccino and large orange juice and the cost exceeds 600, but with good, fresh, quality ingredients.
