Mu Koh Angthong Archipelago N.P. outside Koh Samui, has a small limestone Island Koh Mae Ko, with a closed in lagoon in the middle, it has underwater connection with the outside sea so it's salt water, but never heard of anyone trying to fish in there!? They have daytours from Koh Samui. These islands were the original location of the book, "The Beach" , but the moviemakers decided to use Maya Bay in Koh Phi Phi instead as a background to the film with Leonardo DiCaprio in the main role. Most beaches in Thailand nowadays are no longer serene, quiet and exotic looking, lots of tourists everywhere! Depends what kind of beach you are looking for? Koh Samet in Rayong province is not too far from BKK, and has nice beaches, although I haven't been here since 2001 so not sure how it looks like today!? :rolleyes: Plahgat

Hi! Just back from a 4 days stay in Bangkok and stayed here at Parkway Inn: Old hotel at central location on Sukhumvit Rd, just around the corner of Soi 4 and Nana Plaza between Landmark Hotel and Majestic Suite, near to transport, shopping and nightlife. Downstairs is a taylor shop, as you enter there is an elevator that takes you up to reception on second floor. They also have some massage ladies usually sitting on the stairs outside. Rooms charming old style but in good shape, bathroom some minor faults, cracks and bad plumping. Queen sized double bed, matress a bit on the hardside. TV was old but with lots of channels, good free wi/fi in the rooms. Big fridge with minibar and waterboiler, drinking water in bottles not free. Big mirror on wall behind bed. Safety box in room. Guest friendly, they didn't even ask for girls ID, but when she leaves she has to get out of the elevator at second floor reception area and walk down stairs to exit. Biggest problems was that my room (#301) faced the very busy Sukhumvit Rd and although double glassed windows traffic noise was eardeafening! They made me change my room next day (#501) so I could move up 2 floors, but still on the frontside with annoying street noise! Also being a nonsmoker my second room smelled heavily from cigarette and guests in other rooms spread smoke out into the corridors that entered my room as well! Supposed to be smokefree rooms, but obviously some guests don't care about hotel policy! If you can get a room higher up and on the backside, it might be better, some rooms has no windows though, I requested a nonsmoking room on a high floor at the back when booking on www.venere.com, but was told on arrival they were all full. Staff were quite friendly though, always had a chat with Mr Somsak going in or out. So, because of the traffic noise and tobacco smell I wouldn't stay here again, although I got a very good price at only 900 baht/night no breakfast (normally start at 1400 baht), I will stay elsewere next time! Sidegra has the same ingredient (Sildenafil) as Viagra and Kamagra so works the same! Take it on an empty stomach and you'll be ready to go within 30 minutes! You should avoid eating a few hours before as it will delay the effect. Fatty foods and excess amounts of alcohol might also interact with the pill decreasing and delaying the effect. Plahgat

Charoen Pharmacy is just to the left on Sukhumvit Rd before you enter Soi 4 Nana, after the gas-station near Bully's Pub. It's a big openfronted drugstore that sells a lot of stuff. You just tell the guy at the counter that you want to buy a pack of Sidegra/Viagra, and he'll get one from under the counter and hand over to you, no questions asked! Plahgat

You'd better off to check any of the below 1000 baht hotels in Soi 4 Nana in person before you book on Internet. Some have cheaper walk in rates than Agoda.com. Plahgat

23-27 2013 February. Bangkok White Orchid Inn 1, Soi 4 Nana, Sukhumvit Rd. 23-24 Feb. Standard room 2nights at 700 baht= 1400 baht http://www.pbase.com/lovelos/image/151957165 Small room for 700 baht walk in rate. Situated inside the corridor with no window-view. Clean room with flat Samsung LCD TV and great free Wi/Fi Very near to NEP and in a small quiet soi. Bad thing for me was that the maid sprayed the room with some antiseptic strong smelling stuff that made me feel sick and nauseous! They do have bigger frontfacing rooms with windows, at about 1000 baht, that might be better. Plahgat Hence I wouldn't stay here again! I have bought Sidegra in Pattaya for 200 baht several times at a small pharmacy on Soi Diana left handside coming from Second Rd just past the entrance to Soi LK Metro near the Soi Bua Khao junction. Plahgat

I bought mine in March this year, and still have some left. There are two stores next to each other first a smaller indoors aircon Pharmacy and next to it a larger open Drugstore that sells all kind of things. I also buy from this drugstore and have done so since -98, only place that lets me buy Sidegra for the official Thai price at 180 baht for a 4X100 mg pack, other places I've tried wants me to pay extra for "Dr's Fee"! Cheapest I've found in Pattaya is a drugstore on Soi Dianna, lefthand side before Soi Bua Khao, that sell it for 200 baht. Plahgat

All protesters are gone from Soi Asoke and Soi Cowboy, also the shopping areas MBK, Siam Paragon and CentralWorld are all cleaned up now, their last refuge seems to be in Lumpinee Park. plahgat Here's a picture of Soi Asoke a few hours ago, and everything is normal. Here's Soi Cowboy last night!

I buy the official Thai version of Viagra called Sidegra 4X100 mg at the Drugstore to the left after leaving Soi 4 Nana for 180 baht. Some places won't sell it without prescription or you will have to pay an extra "Doctor's fee" total 300 baht! Plahgat
