This is new right? Have never been asked to show my passport or any ID before but this time they said I couldn’t top up my rabbit card without showing my passport.
Of course I didn’t have it on me as I don’t like carrying it around so I had to go back to the hotel to get then go back to the BTS station to top up my card then go back to the hotel again to drop off the passport (as I don’t like carrying it around) and finally head back to the BTS again!
Such a great use of my time....!

Work trip booked in BKK 3 nights 17-21 August then fly to Singapore

iPhone 6. I used to always be able to upload photos to my posts when posting from my phone but now when I try I get an error message “The server returned an error during upload”. I’m following the same procedure as normal but keep getting this message.
Anyone have the same problem or can advise what to do?

As mentioned before I have stayed at the Hyatt Regency but not the Sofitel and will be back at the Hyatt on Sunday for 4 nights.
I liked it and the main plus points were:
- Large room size considering it was the ‘cheapest’ room (37/38sqm)
- Completely girl friendly & no need for girl to hand in ID at reception (just walk in & go straight to room)
- Nice rooftop bar with great views of BKK (when it isn’t pissing down!)
- Easy access to BTS as Exit 3 at Nana has been extended so you’ve got a walkway straight to the hotel
- Massive 55” tv in the room and no issues with WiFi
I didn’t have the breakfast but I’ve heard it is good!

I'm but head to airport late evening on 04th.
Happy to catch up for daytime drinks and shoot some pool.
Staying soi 18. 40, from uk
Looks nearer 50 but other than that a sound guy who’s a good laugh for a drink ????

July work trip confirmed. In BKK for 4 nights from 7th to 11th July then onto Singapore till 15th. Will be working so no late nights but nothing like getting your cock sucked on company time & money.... ????

Stayed here last week when in BKK on business and will stay there again when I’m back next month. Really liked the hotel better than the Landmark which is similarly priced. I got a good rate of £100 per night although it’s increased to £120 a night for my next trip.
Stayed in the ‘cheapest’ room but it was more than spacious enough (37/38sqm I think) and the tv was massive! Comfy bed & separate shower and bath tub.
The rooftop bar is also really nice great view of BKK. Took 3 different girls up there on 3 consecutive nights so I am sure the staff noticed :D
Pool & jacuzzi were fine and there’s also a steam room. Didn’t have the breakfast.
Good location and you can walk to the hotel via the extended skybridge at Nana (exit 3 I think) which leads you to the hotel entrance via an escalator which is useful if you have luggage.
-
Also Tai Pan Hotel on Soi 23 which is less than 5 min walk from Asok / SC it’s a 3.5 star hotel which should be in your budget
-
Nope. In fact I’m not aware of a single hotel in BKK that does!
-
Hi Rocky , Citrus looks cool , any problems bringing girls back at reception ?
Hi nope no issues at all you do have to walk past reception but they never asked for ID
-
Yes i always catch the train if I can & make sure my hotel is within walking distance of Nana or Asoke BTS
-
Thanks. Not to hijack the original post but can I just check is the Apcalis SX tablets ones that stay in your system for 24/36 hours so you only need one tablet a day maximum?
-
Yes and it’s a nice 4.5 star hotel. Not sure why you’d want it on the other side of the road though surely having it the same side as Nana is if anything an advantage?
If you want 5 star & a bigger room at similar prices check out the Hyatt Regency which is just down the road (there’s a thread on it here as well). I’ve just booked for 3 nights at GBP100 a night and my ‘cheapest’ room is bigger than that of the Landmark.
If you want one of the biggest room going check out the Citrus Suites (4 star) on Soi 6 you can get a 60sqm Suite with separate lounge & kitchen for less than the cheapest room at the Landmark the girls I’ve taken back there have always been impressed!

If you want to meet up for a beer thatd be cool. Heading to Hanoi for 3 nights on 21st so 17th to 20 is nice timing.
Cool just waiting for my work meetings etc to be finalised but should def be free on the 20th at some point. Usually have a beer or two in The Stumble Inn during the day as get on well with a couple of the daytime bar girls (well shagged one and currently working on the other..... :D)

For Majestic Suites you check in the girl but as I said literally everyone there is doing the same so it’s no big deal.
For the Landmark you don’t though you just walk in. The concierge desk is quite a way back & to the right when you enter so you can walk straight past and go to the lifts easily. Of all the hotels I’ve stayed in I’d say the Landmark is the easiest & most hassle free for guests. Plus it’s a nice hotel with a nice pool & great location
-
Majestic Suites no but it hardly matters as it is so close to Nana literally everyone that stays there is bringing girls back! Oh and yes it’s a different hotel to Majestic Grande not as fancy 3 star I think
For Landmark I believe there is a ‘secret entrance’ (I read it on here) but again it doesn’t matter as it’s probably the easiest hotel to take girls back to. You could walk in with a bus load and no one would care :D
-
Haha that’s like me.
We get given cash to take with us of approx £50 per person per day and often there’s at least 2 of us travelling to 2/3 countries (I also have a company credit card). I always take charge of it so distribute meagrely plus we have a lot of meals paid for by agents anyway so i can have a good few hundred £££ left by the time I get to BKK....nothing like getting your dick sucked on company money :D

Looking forward to a review.
What room type did you book?
I would like to stay there with my only necessity being a deep bath that 1 fat guy and a Thai girl can fit into [emoji12]

I think it’s the ‘cheapest’ room but work are paying anyway so I don’t mind!
-
Staying here for the first time next month looking forward to it!
-
I’ve stayed at the Citrus Suites a couple of times and like it. You can get a big 50sqm+ room (with separate living room) for around £70 a night and the girls I’ve taken back have all been impressed. Plus the WiFi has been the best I’ve seen in BKK!

June 17 to July 05. With a few days in Hanoi in middle.
Up for meeting for a drink or game of pool in afternoons or at night.
Just finalising my work trip but should be in BKK 3 nights 17th-20th June ????
-
Just stay at the Landmark nice hotel great location & you could probably waltz in with a bus load of hoes and they wouldn’t give a f***

Apcalis is a generic version of Cialis (tadalafil), produced in India. And yes, it has a well-earned reputation as "the weekend" drug. Prices range between ฿350-500.
Thanks that’s certainly better than paying 2000B!
-
No, not worth that. Stick with apcalis, should run about 400 baht.
Cheers does apcalis last 24/36 hours per pill? That’s my main preference
Now need to show your passport to top up your rabbit card

Ah I see thanks. Yes I’ve topped us several times in the last 6 months but have never been asked until now. At least it sounds like a one off.
