Haha that’s like me.
We get given cash to take with us of approx £50 per person per day and often there’s at least 2 of us travelling to 2/3 countries (I also have a company credit card). I always take charge of it so distribute meagrely plus we have a lot of meals paid for by agents anyway so i can have a good few hundred £££ left by the time I get to BKK....nothing like getting your dick sucked on company money :D
Reminded me of couple years ago we got a nice bonus and could elect how to take it, I took it as a trip to BKK and I went straight to Lolitas :D

I think it’s the ‘cheapest’ room but work are paying anyway so I don’t mind!
Can not complain when work pay for the room.
A side story: A work colleague and I planned a work training trip to Sydney and on the return a weekend in Melbourne before getting home.
We were given some cash to use for meals etc. for the week away which we kept as we got on with the trainer really well and had him take us to dinner each night, plus there was an allowance at the hotel he paid for too.
Training course finished and weekend of drinking afterwards all paid for by work :D

Staying here for the first time next month looking forward to it!
Looking forward to a review.
What room type did you book?
I would like to stay there with my only necessity being a deep bath that 1 fat guy and a Thai girl can fit into [emoji12]

Yes girl friendly.
I have not stayed there for a couple years now as I find the Four Points in Soi 15 rooms better and it has easier access to Nana and Asok BTS.
-
The Soi 17 entrance toonboy mentions is the best to use if coming from Soi Cowboy, just use your room card to open the gate.
The Four Points is approximately half way between Nana and Asok BTS so a good location if wanting to go to Soi 4 or Soi Cowboy.

South East Pharmacy near Soi 15 I believe is open until 10PM and also the one on the left in Soi 15 not far in as you walk from Sukhumvit Road.
No doubt there will be others even closer to Soi Cowboy but I have never noticed them.

I am a Platinum Elite with Marriott, an dthey have great benefits at the JW and the Queen's Park in the Lounge. Like 2-3 meals a day and Free Cocktails. Hard to pass up, but I would like to try the Sheraton Grand for a couple of nights on my next trip. Anyone have knowledge if they have an Executive Lounge, and if so, what service do they have there?
Thanks!
No lounge but many options available through the Hotel.
Check this link http://bysherry.com/sheraton-grande-sukhumvit-bangkok/ for a guide to benefits while it was when it came under the SPG umbrella it is still relevant now.
Over on Flyertalk there is a long post about the hotel, also one about Queens Park Marriott which might be worth reading for comparison.
I actually like the SGS options more than just a executive lounge.

Hello all,
Thanks for posting this topic. I arrive on a Friday night at about 10pm. Would you advise taking the ARL or a taxi at that time of night on a Friday?
Depends on which airport you are arriving at - BKK or DMK and location of your hotel.
DMK then Taxi but as the original topic is about BKK then tha's where I am assuming you are arriving.
If arrival time is 10 PM then I'd expect about an hour before you are actually leaving the airport at best.
ARL and BTS close around midnight so you need to time it right.
If it's your first time to BKK then I'd take a taxi just for the ease of it.

I will be there 19th to 28th.
My regular seems to have pre planned everything but I will see how that goes....
-
I believe he has to pay an 2x 1200 because after Pattaya - BKK he still needs to go back to Pattaya again before he goes off to his next destination..

ah yes, I read it as get back to BKK go get a BJ and pick up bag then head to airport.
I would of just contacted hotel and said I’d collect bag Sunday and grab it before heading to airport.

It is actually the 18th, but is being observed on the 20th since it falls on a Saturday. I would imagine the bars to be closed on the actual day and not the day the government offices will be closed for the holiday.
^^ What he said......
-
In the past I have found BJ bars open, though these usually close around 1am.
Also you could try the bars down Soi 22, there is a small alley on the right hand side of Titanium Bar where you will find 3-4 bars which might be open.
-
Certainly, except only problem is I will be at home.... but what I am hearing you say is your paying airfare & accommodation :P
Seriously, just be aware there is a Buddhist Holiday on 18th so bars will be closed or not sell alcohol that day.
I am not sure if they will close up at midnight on 17th though.
Have fun :)

The Kiwi on Soi 8, The Sport Corner down on Soi 20, The Sports Bar on Soi 13, Hanrahans on Soi 4 are all places to check.
All should have it advertised on their FB or website so look them up.
-
Why not try one of the private car services as I do not understand why you would have to pay 2x 1200 for a taxi?
I believe around 1500 average price for a one way fare.
Get to BKK, go get a blowie and collect your bag and head to the airport in a taxi or get the BTS/MRT to the ARL station and then to airport.

Only danger I have experienced is those who are not fully shaved and me working the clit with my tongue with my top lip putting pressure on it from above.
After it feels like an ulcer has come up from the inside of my lip rubbing on the pubic hair

Again really great review Adore! Similar question regarding ID check when bringing a girl over, do they hold ID and if so is it a 21+ check?
In my 14 stays at the hotel I have never had a girl asked to leave ID at reception / security.
If you enter from the ground floor you bypass reception as it is on the next level up and can take the lift up to your room.
From reading the review above it seems the OP had an out-call come so it might be a bit different.
-
Thanks for the hotel review, i am considering this and the Center Point 21. Did you have to check in the girls ID when entering and if so was it a 21+ age check?
I have stayed here previously and never had to have a girl leave ID at reception, the reception area could be classed as a bit out of the way as you exit the lift onto level 7 and then head to the lifts that take you to your room.

Just seen this posted over on PA by a board member.
“Guys to summarize that due to elections, we expect bars to be officially closed & alcohol sales banned on the 2 dates as follows;
1. From 6pm Sat March 16th to Midnight on March 17/18th. Bars open on Mar 18th as normal.
2. From 6pm on Sat March 23rd to Midnight on March 24/25th. Bars open Mar 25th as normal
Please correct if the summary is incorrect.”

Presume massage parlours & BJ bars would be open as normal?
Most likely.
Once I arrived in July on one of the Buddhist holidays and found a BJ bar open and was able to drink too.

I've stayed a couple of times early on in my travels to BKK but have now changed to staying at the Four Points in Soi 15.
For gaining hotel rewards status it is a good cheap hotel but not one I would stay at with status.
My main reasons for swapping to the Four Points is the bed at Aloft I find a bit too hard and the damp smell in some of the rooms.
I believe they have removed carpet and laid vinyl flooring to combat this.
The other reason is the rooms only have a shower where Four Points also have a nice deep bath which I use for some bath time fun with my girl ;)
The Aloft when I stayed had a good buffet breakfast and from what uncle Tom Tit has said above still does.
Staff were always friendly, and the area is good for night life.
Make sure to look at the deals section of the hotels website as there might be one that brings the cost down a bit.
For the Four Points I have a flexible booking for mid April after Songkran cheaper than the prepaid rate after using one of the promo codes under the deals section.

Hilton Sukhumvit is on Soi 24 and Double Tree on Soi 26....
As for guest friendly, I've never stayed but experience at other higher end hotels has never been a problem bringing anyone back to the room.

Reaching Grande Centre Point 21 Hotel After Midnight From Soi Cowboy

Just walk across the street.....There is traffic lights and pedestrians do cross there.
Tip: Pedestrian crossings in Thailand are not for vehicles to stop so to allow you to cross the street, they are there to show the ambulance where to stop to pick your body up :D
Serious tip: Always walk across a road in Thailand with confidence, don't hesitate.
