I'm curious....have you ever been to Thailand? This is at least the second hotel review you posted that comes pretty much word for word from a review on tripadvisor. Making a bunch of posts just to get elevated to advanced status will not get you advanced. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hasn't enjoyed going through the new posts just to see you say "Thanks for the review" a dozen times or more. Yes, I requested for you to make more meaningful posts. However, these posts should be your own doing. Not a case of looking up reviews online and then posting them here as your own.

Its much easier and quicker to get around using the BTS or the MRT. Taxi's aren't bad, but the traffic in BKK can be very bad at times.

I would book the extra day. This way you have the room up until you want to leave for the airport. You don't have to worry about having the hotel watch your bags. Its also nice to be able to shower right before you leave for the airport.

I can't say I have ever heard of something like this happening, but that doesn't mean its not possible. Just use common sense when you're out with your equipment and you should be fine. In all honesty, I find BKK to be safer than the US cities I have been in as far as crime is concerned.....crossing streets is another story. :lol:

Yes, certain holidays, election days, etc. they don't sell alcohol. Its not too common and chances are you won't visit during one of those times.

The cross over bridge is between the hotel and Phra Khanong station. So, you'll walk past it going to the bts anyway. When my friend stayed there we used it instead of trying to cross Rama 4 road. My friend never once said he got stuck with a joiner fee. So, I'd have to say its GF. You do want to keep in mind that they are building a new condo right near there. So, I'm not sure if you'll get construction noise or not.
