Cot Hoot Cap
Excellent fotos bro! I dont never decided if I like Soi 11 for the reason that it does not feel like being in Thailand. The 17% tax is annoying too. But cant complain about Climax disco!

Suay Mak Mak
What my lazy butt want to know if there is any way to cut through 7/1 Soi 9 area to come through an alley to break out on to Soi 11 without needing to walk all the way out to Sukhumvit and back... Great pictures
ANDY2463
Don't know if there is , But you can cut through from soi 7 opposite the beergarten , there is a hotel(think it is called the park) walk along it s front you will a small green gate go though this past happy feet massage , keep going across the car park, to a small walk way this brings you out opposite the Ambassador Hotel.

lev123
Andy2462 and Suay mak mak, regarding the path, the shortcut across from the biergartern is excellent and does put you back on Soi 11, next to the RainTree massage (across from Au Bon Pain). The door to the green gate gets locked late at night, I think around 11:00PM. If you are in the sub ski 7 (Eden, Dr. BJ etc) the street appears to curve at the end, but it does not lead to Soi 11. I know, because I was attempting to find a shortcut as well. A "plug" for President Palace on Soi 11. Great service, decent size rooms, decent pool and gym and no joiner fee. Back on the Soi in August and again for New Year's eve!
Piece Corp
Yeah, this is convenient. After Raintree, you veer to the left behind the Park Hotel. After reaching Soi 7, you can continue 'underground' and take The Tunnel to Soi 5. The entrance from Soi 7 is here
kopite
If you had to choose between one of the Grand President suite rooms or President Palace which would go for? Are there any decent hotels on soi 11 with a jacuzzi?
ianjamesmax
If you had to choose between one of the grand president suite rooms or president palace which would go for? Are there any decent hotels on soi 11 with a jacuzzi? Never stayed at the President Palace, but luv the suite rooms at the Grand President. Their sister hotel on soi 11 too,President Solitaire, has suites with a jacuzzi bathtub. http://www.presidentsolitaire.com/rooms/platinum.html

ianjamesmax
Thanks that room looks really nice although agoda don't seem to list it. That's a shame. Click on "Show more room types",and it should come up. http://www.agoda.com/president-solitaire-hotel/hotel/bangkok-th.html?dsrch=1&asq=Qm7ECFp5rBqcqcPgfaDP5AtwYhSKCQIv14XZORXDWra09AUo1TG3V7%2bgfwW%2fdbJSdV74JVZN%2ffFD1PZRq%2f0%2b2%2f1DWD4J%2f4ZtdBg4n3sZwoCK5uUmqf3IH3hFO5dx%2bBLjxczHaGwfmUbW7DDbtt8iiQ90WGQ4xR%2fQZ73a7lQj2zo%3d And always compare prices with the hotel's website daily!Wait until one of them has a "Daily deal" and get a sweet price.
