polluxxx
Just a heads up that Rajah Alley which conveniently connected Soi 2 and 4 is currently closed. There’s a new property being built there and it looks like they turned this street into their entrance. Not sure if it’ll reopen after construction or not. In any case, this makes the Nana DoubleTree a lot less convenient. I mean, still not terrible, but to get to Soi 4 you have to walk up and around the block via Sukhumvit Rd.

Herbby
I wouldn’t worry, it is only a few minutes walk to go up to sukhumvit and around onto 4.
JVHyatt
yeah but that cut through made it so much easier. Can always walk through the Marriott.

You can walk through the Marriott? I will stay at a condo right across from the Rajah Alley so this would be helpful.
JVHyatt
by the way, os this the hotel that took over rajah alley? https://maisonhotelbangkok.com/facility/ I especially like the “kids club” here. What kind of an idiot would stay on Soi 4 with their kids?
Woody Woodpecker
This alley had been closed for the past couple years due to construction but it’s open now. You can walk to the Doubletree from Soi 4 past this new Hotel Maison.

polluxxx
I stayed at a condo next door to the DoubleTree last week and the alley was closed. The Maison has put up a big metal gate - not sure if that will be mostly open or closed once the property is open, but last week they were laying paving stones in front of the gate so it was all blocked off by construction hoarding. JVHyatt
maybe they’re extending their “kid’s club” outdoors. wtf and how high is the fence, I’ll climb the fucker. Edited December 14, 2023 by JVHyatt
