DDD
Hello all! Been doing a lot of reading and appreciate all the advice. Initial planning of my first trip to BKK and looking for hotel advice. It seems that location of hotel is really important for ease of getting back after picking up versus ST rooms that don't get great reviews. Thinking medium price and thinking near Nana BTS a good idea. Open to suggestions - if it was your first time, where would you stay?
kahoy
Dynasty Inn, 1460 for a deluxe room, right next door to Nana Plaza
yoyohatcat
I always stay at Majestic Suites right next to Soi Nana. I highly recommend it. Sent from my KFGIWI using Tapatalk
Vlaos
I always stay at Majestic Suites right next to Soi Nana. I highly recommend it.Ideal location. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There is access to another hotel about 5 minutes walk away for swimming and gym. Close to the BTS Nana station so access to major shops in Bangkok is easy. The area is good for bars in the evening.
elmo12
I am a Marriott guy and can definitely recommend the JW on Soi 2. It's about three blocks to Nana, a 5 minute walk at most. I had no problem taking girls home. No one bothered us walking in or out. The rooms are a little dated for a JW but I can't complain as they upgraded me to a suite. They have a pool too but I did not get the chance to try it.

dbuko
I'll second the Landmark. Not mid price (it's pricey for the area) but is good value for me especially the club floor with evening food and drinks ...
Outlandish
I always went for Majestic Suites and Majestic Grande. Majestic Grande is in Sukhumvit Soi 2, and Majestic Suites is around the corner of Nana Plaza.
Koko
Dynasty Grand on Soi 6 gets high marks and I will stay there on my next trip.
Irishfella
Ive stayed in Dynasty Inn, Dynasty Grande, Majestic Suites, Majestic Grande, Grand Sukhumvit, and Four something on down Soi 4 just past the old Hilary 2. Out of them all considering price and location I think the Majestic Suites is the best for mongering. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
