The Landmark is probably a nicer hotel, but I did not want to pay the price premium. The difference in price is about my daily drinking allowance. 😁

that's fair. To be honest, I'm not seeing a big difference between Landmark and Adelphi from pictures and some reviews. Maybe they provide a bit more service?

Hey, I stayed at Adelphi on my last trip (2018) and enjoyed it, thinking of booking it again for my upcoming trip, is the standard still the same or has it fallen? I read somewhere that they stop with breakfast?

I stayed there the first two weeks of august. At first there was a lot of construction/maintenance noise. But later in the week everything was quiet. It would have been nice if I was informed about that. 

The room was good. The large window is a great plus. But there is no power next to the bed (there is one but it is under the night stand). It would have been nice to have a couple of USB charge points.

Housekeeping was excellent. 

I usually skip breakfast so I can not help you there.
