Looking for a hotel in Bangkok right now as well, what made you go with Adelphi?

Had a look at Landmark and it looks pretty good, especially for the price. Super convenient, only couple mins away from nana plaza and google map says 15 mins from soi cowboy. I'm assuming taking a tuk tuk driver instead would probably be super cheap? I'm starting to lean towards to just bringing the girls to my hotel as it seems like others haven't had a lot of issue with it. Does Landmark check IDs or can you just walk pass reception? And lastly, did you book directly with the hotel or did you use another site to book with? And what do you think the price difference is booking online vs in person? Only reason I'm asking is that I have 2 weeks in Thailand, and I can't make up my mind on how long to stay in Bangkok vs Pattaya. Initially I was thinking of splitting it in half, but if Pattaya turns out worst than Bangkok, and I've already booked my 7 day hotel stay, then I guess I'm kinda stuck.

also forgot to add, to all those hotels you've booked in the past. Do you mostly book directly with the hotel or other agencies/websites. And is there a big price difference booking it in person vs online before hand.

Those pictures are amazing! 1720 baht? That's an amazing price. I just looked it up on their website and its around 235 USD per night.

Would you say Landmark is convenient and for that price, are the rooms generally nice? I've read some posts on here about "run down/old" hotel with bugs, etc which I want to avoid. Since you've taken them back to your hotel, I'm assuming Landmark is pretty guest friendly. And lastly, what are these ST hotels? Is it like Nana hotel or are there other nearby ST hotels?

Sheraton and Marriot were my top 2 choices while doing my research. Can you comment about Sofitel?

I've been going through peoples post about their hotel preferences and I'm kinda overwhelmed by the choices to be honest. So I wanted to get everyone's opinion on their top 3 hotel choices in 2023? I'm looking into hotels that are actually nice and don't mind paying a little higher than some of the "run down" hotels I've read about here.

very nice pool, I see what they meant by instagram worthy. Is it quite busy and are there a lot of people by the pool?
