Just booked 4 nights for our little adventure on the 19th Dec, ok the rooms are showing a little where and it is a little way down the soi but still a decent price, do not know if they have sorted the fitness room out but last time it was pants.\\

Hi USA Guy Thanks for the Link ,I was up there a few months ago and had a look at the building that was on going, seems like they have done a good job according to the web site, I was looking for a different place to stay on my next visit ,away from Nana for a small change, I have stayed at the old place a few times and enjoyed it (nice to relax at the pool ),the German guy that used to run it was a good guy very helpful, but this new place look,s trendy,

Just booked ( Lohas SUITES SUKHUMVIT by SUPERHOTEL) on soi 2 got a decent deal 8300 Bht was the Amari before,and was decent good gym and pool,hope its not gone down hill with the new management,get in on the 25th, been a long shift this one looking forward to a few days on the beer,

S15 I have been to twice , once on my own ,once with my Long time GF , they are GF but not to sure about more than one , some people have reported the night staff can be a bit stiff we where in the Junior Suite it was nice, As for Dream great hotel , i have been here about 4/5 times, and never had a problem with bringing any one back, i can not see them having a problem with more than one , i was always in the other building across the street (this hotel has main building and a second building across the street) i prefer the one across the street swimming pool and Gym in it., ,

aand Mate have a good look thorough the Girl friendly thread, as you know mate 4* in the real world does not mean 4* here, most of the big chains are GF Landmark is good, and always friendly, Sheraton GF ,Marriott GF, but some of the big chains may charge you for more than one bird in tow, if this is your preferred MO then may be not so posh normal 4* place would suit you, There are apartment type places on lower Suck that fit the bill, there are a lot of places down this area , Amari soi 2, Omni Tower soi 4 ,Grand Dynasty soi 6,

Hi Mate Dont think there are many places that will let 3 people (guy of chicks) rent a room with out paying for an extra bed you could try OMNI Towers on soi 4 they have a two bedroom appartment option ,between three should not be to exspensive, There are also a couple of guest house options on soi 4, then over on soi 7/1 you have maxims inn,and a few other cheaper but ok value type, these are right in the middle of the action. Also on soi 4 there are a couple of Dorm type accommadation can not remember the name of them , by Big Mango Bar, as you walk down soi 4 from Suck on the left ,reach Jools bar and take a left and they are down there.

Hotel Name A Loft GF Friendly YES I had the first 4 days here on soi 11 very modern and Chic, loved the place has a great buzz to it , seems full at the we-ends, has Levels night Club there (did not make it though) The room i had was Chic Double had every thing you need very comfy, Iron so no extra pressing cost, bathromm is cool ,Ipod mounts, good selection in the mini bar, I think they are to busy at all times to check for who is comming in with you,the front desk are very good ,check in was fast,and allways willing to help with any problem. Have internett in the room free, and also internett in the foya, thye also have pool tables there, cool place plenty of places to chill out ,i did not get chance to go the pool or Gym. Great hotel for party week end, i was on one of the high floors so had no noise issues, (not that i would know , to much beer every night ).and Soi 11 is a great place to be , Once againe watch the Taxi guys out side ,high prices, My costing for 4 nights, 11,129Bht, not bad for a good hotel with all the Mod Cons you need,

Work just booked me in the Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 next we-end for 5 nights, have read some good things about this place, a small walk from my usual stomping ground on soi 4, Looks a real party hotel from the reviews on booking sites and Trip adviser, some say too much noise from the Levels night club in same building, but I am not there to relax > anyone been to this hotel ,appreciate any info , hope they don’t mint me arriving early in the morning, will update when i find out about it

Dynasty Inn on soi 4 right bang slap in the middle of the action, book the new rooms in the back building no one has ever check any ID with me in there, sometimes a fella sitting at a desk ,never even looks up .And you can shoo them out in the morning down the side road that leads to the back building, although the girls in bar 4(directly opposite) and Hillary 4 (right next to it) never miss a trick no matter how hard you try to hide you guest for the night,

Hi Gingert I know 10 days seems a long time now but this will fly past, so you do not want to be tied down to one place unless you really like it and you won’t know that till you get there (stating the obvious I know). I tell my mates only to book for two days max, they then have the flexibility to move on if they don’t like it , I would not recommend you stay in BKK all that time for your firs trip ,get of down to Pattaya (sister board Pattaya addicts has every hotel and recommendation you will need ) or down to Phuket, But don’t try to do all 3 in one trip. Get some serious research done on this and other boards like it, how much to pay, scams, what is expected, how to treat the Thais Difference between, good drinking bars and Go Go’s, how to you think you should be treated and what the reality relays is, different between afternoons and night adventures, if you are a beer drinker and like a good session and friendly people . Never judge a book by its cover, I have spoilt many a good day evening out this way, over paranoid when I first came here or tried a new area thinking everyone is at it,(they probably in some form or shape are but it is how much you let them get away with what matters) meet up with fellow BMS and they will give you a start in the right direction. Most of this info mate is on here when you get stuck please feel free to ask My advice is book a hotel in Bkk on the lower sukhumvit Rd from soi 1 through to 15 is the about the lowest I go now. Very handy for either for the Nana or Cowboy entertainment areas. Some good deals floating around, all depends on your Budget, Two points to remember mate we are here for a good time not a long time, and never go ugly early in Thailand.

Bootoo33 Thanks for the update I was going to stay Dynasty Inn on the 11th after finding the nana was full on the dates in wanted, booked a Deluxe new for 2000bht, round the back ,out of sight out of mind" i am fed up of walking up and down the soi, well i do tend to fall over after a few beers.

Top place been a few times, but not our average English (chicken tika massala) from the local indian)take away venue, posh very nice atmosphere, look after you also, even if you have a bit of Graft on your arm.The prices can be a little steep,I thought I may have a problem because this hotel is known to be anti graft. But would recommend this restaurant to any one who likes a good ruby Murray

Hi Karoos On Agoda $41- 1,185bht need to add tax, at 7% superior with breakfast, never stayed there my self, about a 5+ min walk to BTS, you can use the cut threw past Lolita’s ? On to soi 6, then on to soi 4 if you are after nightlife. On soi 8 there are some good little bars, and good food at the soi 8 bar breakfast is spot on and large enough to fill a horse. If you are coming for the night life may be soi 4 is the better option many hotels near same price range, Boss suites, ok to good, dynasty inn, about 1500+ ,any way plenty of info on the site ref hotels, both GF and the normal type. As for arriving with no booking depends when you are arriving songkran soon one or two good deals already taken, it can be hit and miss generally walk in can be a bit more expensive, but have done it many times due to uncertainly of getting home from work, but it can be a good idea if not used to LOS to have are booked hotel peace of mind

Hanrahans Irish Pub on Suk Soi 4 has cider for sure mate., yes mark they sell it there ok , the ultimate breakfast drink, on Occasions leading to a seriously expensive day and sever memory loss. And once woke up next to Boss hog lookalike, mark what is the chance of you getting bit of the cider in, some of the stowford press stuff is mint, but seriously character altering after about 5 pints, ok can be a pricy i understand that one.

HHad a bit of a nightmare with the Monaco, nothing to do with the standard of accommodation, I emailed them direct to inform them I would be arriving at about 09:00am, but I decided to have a coffee or two in the star buck in the airport so I was not to early as they did not respond to my email. Any way got there about 10:50, arrived at the front reception desk ,there was chap sitting there hardly lifted his eye brow to aknolage my presence, handed him my sheet from agoda, with out even looking at me told me to come back 14:00, no room ready , I did point out I had emailed them . But he was adamant that I was not getting in till the afternoon, I was bubbling been traveling over 24hrs, he would not move even for a small back hander, I could not hang around that long I was hanging out, to off I popped, fuming to myself, not so much that I could not get room but the blokes attitude was shiteeeet. I was sweating like OJ Simpson now with my big bag, so I just walked round to Grand Dynasty and got a room there no problems, but to add insult to injury my mates turned up only 20 mins later and got there rooms straight away, they booked directly with Hotel, don’t know if this had any thing to do with it. Either that or I need to change my deodorant lessons leart stick to what you know works hotel wise That said I did pop round to see the lads and the rooms looked very clean and modern they siad it was a good place and fairly cheap. By the way Monaco is on soi 2 down near the bottom

Just booked the MONACO Hotel on soi 2 ,on my mates recommendation, they where there NYE and they rated it ok to good, they had no problems with there guest, so we have just booked a long we-end on the 24th for 4 days at 1275 Bht,AGODA (rememember to add Tax ) i will up date when i am there ,i belive you can use the gym at the marriot on soi 2 if so this is good news as this is a very good gym , to get the beer out so i can start again.

Hi Jackman if you are looking for a high end hotel ,near the action the Marriot on soi 2 is GF ,not had a problem here at all, also the landmark GF , as is sheriton . All theses high end hotels are on Sukumvit a lot closer than the Lebue, i have stayed in two of them and never had a problem with taking any one back. You will have a better time around this part if you are here to play.

Willow Citichic on soi 13 is GF been there a couple of times and the staff are top, i did write a TR in GF hotels update, the only problem is this is way down the soi,u can use soi 11 to get to it, soi 13 at night can be a nightmare with traffic ? i do like this hotel just a bit to far away from where i like to drink for me .

(I was at the Sheraton the other week and some guy was having breakfast with his ladyboy companion from the previous night with her still in her evening wear. Beyond my comfort level definitely but good luck to him. ) Yep that would take Balls of steel, the pair of them , way Beyond my comfort level also,

There is of cause the walk of shame"esspecially if you end up with some of the ladies i end up with, you know they love a good gossip: oh my God look at that,,its shamefull should be allowed"" I must admit the walk of Shame has beaten me on more than one occasion, when work have paid for a posh hotel , but good on ye if dont let the Bstrds bother you.

Hi ,just a quick bit of advice, got my, boss coming over in a week or so, was thinking of taking him and his missis to the Long Table ,only ever been there once and I was two sheets to the wind, but don’t think you can just walk in and get a table ,anyone have any idea, if this is doable or need to book, they are rather posh so this place fits the bill, Oh by the way I will be paying so it going to hurt no matter where I go. They are a good luagh not up there own bums and in there late 30s i will get them a bit merry and then sujest ,i then get them out on the town, i will of cause be taking them to Lower Suk,or i will get the withdrawl shakes,

Just a quick heads up on the Royal Ivory Hotel in soi 4 me and a couple of mates booked in there the other week end after reading a few oldies reviews cheap and clean? Well I don’t know what happened then because it was a proper dump, I had a Deluxe so called room I think 1400Bht ok not expensive, the place was not even near clean. When you enter the lift there is a sign telling you no spitting so that is a combat indicator of who is the main customer here. The widow lock was Brocken (I was on second floor easy to climb) the bathroom was heaving. I am sure this place has changed ownership, because I have had friends stay before and they said old but spotless. Bangkok would have to be like Bethlehem (no room at the inn) for me to stay there again.
