  1. Hi Everyone, I went through a ton of threads looking around Nana area but none of the hotels seem to have rooms for +2 people. It's me and 2 of my friends flying out from Samui to Bangkok and we want to stay near Nana, any suggestions for a place that wont be super expensive for 3 people or a place that would have alright priced rooms so we can just rent 3? Any advice is appreciated! Cheers!
  2. I just wanted to bump and ask if anyone knows if these places have late check in? I will be getting into Bangkok at 11pm, so probably wont be at the hotel until 12am.... Arriving on the 16th, leave on the 15th. EDIT: I do think Fraser suites is the way I will go, its a tab bit more expensive but a bloody beautiful looking place!
  3. hahaha, the way it is turning out I think I will be doing the same :P
  4. I know, the Thai consulate people here are helping me get all my documents sorted since the organization I was supposed to go with was supposed to handle the paperwork but they essentially bailed on me.
  5. I am not 100% sure if this is the correct category for this but please feel free to move it if necessary. Basically I will be in Bangkok for about 3 weeks in August and I was wondering if anyone knew of places that I could volunteer at during my time in Bangkok. Kind of give back as it were. All the places I looked at and applied to were way out of the city, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a place closer to Bangkok or in the city. Any input would be awesome. I was planning on doing one of the following types of volunteering: - Teaching english - General helping out at an orphanage or something similar - eco or wildlife volunteering (animal sanctuaries and the lot) - Computer training or even marketing and promotions for a volunteer organization Anything along those lines should do. Thank you all in advance!
  6. Hey everyone so I am in town like a month and a bit from now but I want to try and find some options for a place to stay before hand, so here is what I am looking for, not everything is a must except that it has to be close-ish to the action in Bangkok since it will be a first time and alone I don't want to have the possibility of getting seriously lost lol Budget: anywhere up to $250/night CAD - decent to large sized room - no joiner fee - Internet access included, wireless preferred but not necessary - clean rooms and friendly staff That's really about it, I can't think of any other important things. Any input will be highly appreciated!
