  1. Soi 11 has changed heaps but I still like it as a place for a hotel and a bit of food. Soi 13 has a few good places to stay as well. Central and fairly quiet. My favourite hotels here are Citrus 13,Grand Swiss and Double One.

Soi 11 is changing that's for sure. Like down Am Plaza all the massage shops were closed down on my visit last December. Soon the remaining ones will soon be gone, if not already.
That steakhouse near Double One hotel is gone too, it's some indian place now.
That nightclub under Ambassador Hotel is closed. The cheap charlies bar is also closed.
But there is some new club that opened up on Soi 11, Insanity I think moved premises there, i'm not 100% sure.

  2. From my research into it most places use a laser method now. Though laser is not guaranteed for all skin types. Plus it requires multiple treatments with 3-6 weeks apart. Here in Oz the pricing is outrageous even while they claim to have the latest european laser technology.

Electrolysis is still available. it's more painful than laser.  the best bet is to use one of the hospitals that offer the service.

In fact the best starting point is a hard wax option. Supposedly better than strip waxing.

My extra hair is manageable. A tube of veet cream made things a lot more comfortable at the gym. Though i'm on the fence as to what to do next.

Here are my notes so far:

    Bangkok
Laser hair removal - Natasa Clinic in Thonglor

    Electrolysis and Laser treatments -
    pricing - http://www.yanhee.net/hair-removal/price-and-packages

waxing services for Men and Women, check their Facebook pages they have prices sheets. Both use hard wax treatment.

    Laser hair removal - Pattaya
  3. @liamkincaid great topic and the analogy you've used is perfect. I suppose it is a game, it's a game that moves and changes while you play. (and btw I loved the first season :P )
The LOS and it's many redlight worlds create a surreal blur over our normal lives. In so far that you're paying for this fantasy to unfold the LOS feels better than real life. But is it reality without finance?
What I mean by that is - Do you think that you could replicate these fantasies with normal women through regular pick up's?
Well i know I couldn't. The idea of being able to live out a fantasy is one of the many reasons  why i come to the LOS. And yeah i'll happily pay for that pleasure.
My own personal journey has been a prettyboy crossover of sorts. I lost my newbie eyes somewhere in my 2016 missions. Though I remain a good lamb and not some much the cheeky little shit I can be, that is unless I drink too mutt.

My own analogy is "the island of the lost boys" from Disney's - Pinocchio. The idea here is - if you stay too long and you become the ass.
I keep the worlds separated.  Homelife is SSDD with changes made just to keep it interesting. I did 4 visits in 2016 and 2 in 2017. It's better if my visits are spread out over the year as it gives me something to work towards and look forward to.
The LOS is a nice place to visit but I dunno if I'd wanna live there (or work there). With all that pussy and excitement i'd be broke in no time at all.

  4. T21 foodcourt is very overrun with tourists nowadays, eating cheap and sucking up free aircon and they tend to hang out there quite just using the free wifi for ages So tables can sometimes be hard to come by. I suggest that trying the food court in the Tops supermarket under Robinsons as an alternative, although much smaller it less tourist occupied and reasonably priced.

    thank you for that tip

  5. Bay Breeze is definitely guest friendly when booking the room for 2 people.  Not sure if it is only booked for 1 person but may still be.  Have stayed there twice and will be staying again my next trip.  Majestic Suites is just around the corner from Nana Plaza within 5 mins if not less walking distance.

Sounds like a good combo for me. The Bay Breeze and then Majestic Suites (again) - I really liked it there.

Bay Breeze pool - is good? Yes/No?

I've stayed on Soi Honey before. H Boutique was pretty good.

Last month stayed in two hotels. Centra Avenue. - love this hotel. It's just off Soi Diana.

And I stayed in a guest house off LK Metro on Soi Buakhao called Katesiree House. No fills. Very simple. But the price is right. *warning* no elevator. place is fucking stairmaster.
