Robert4209
Hi I will be going back to Thailand in November and usually spend most of my trip in Pattaya. Before I head down I will be staying a few days in Bangkok. In the past I have stayed at the Ruamchitt plaza along Sukhumvit road near Soi Sukhumvit 15 as its between Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza, reasonably comfortable with free wifi and a pool. When I stayed there 2 years ago one of the good things about it was no Joiner/Guest fee, But since then I can see the hotel has had a complete makeover and now looks more up market (judging by pics of the rooms, swimming pool and their new website) I emailed them asking if they charge a joiner/guest fee but have not heard back from them. So was wondering if anyone on here knows if they now charge or not or any other similar hotels recommended in the area.
Hermansen
It's a ST hotel with a freelance bar in the basement. No joiner fee. And the hotel is far from up market, but very practical and clean. Have everything you need at a resonable rate.
Slugger
I agree.Very good and secret hotel if you want to go for a short time. Thats how the hotel makes the money. Dont worry. I take triples girls there, and I never have an extra charge.
Robert4209
Thanks for that, I have booked my room with them for my trip in October. I decided to go for an ordinary Studio room not one of their modern Chinese rooms which are more exspensive just for a different style. Now just counting down the weeks till I get back to Thailand. Thailand-bound
Any recent reviews on this hotel from BM's? The reviews on the booking sites are poor. Thanks
tiago1971
for the reviews i see on the net probably is better to use this hotel only as St Hotel. it seems that rooms are a little bit old and the hotel need a refresh.
nivla
i agree i think its more of a ST hotel, but great for Thermae
robbintoh
I got a corner room for ST recently at this hotel. It is actually quite decent and spacious, nice clean bed and a bath area with translucent glass, standing shower. I have sent worse ST hotel in BKK. Generally quite clean also but i believe this hotel is used mainly for ST and mostly for Thermae
Grunter
Just bumping this. Anyone know the current st rates. Was considering it as an option for 10 days in November. Anyone really advise against this. My criteria is to get a 3-4 star hotel close to the action. Have stayed at Nana hotel in the past. But that was some years ago. Majestic Suites is a possibility but can book out.

Just make sure you book a room with a window. It it technically a 3 star hotel, according to the definition, but it feels more like a 2 star hotel. Check it out on Trip Advisor. Majestic Suites is a better hotel. You get what you pay for.
