TarlC
Staying in Bkk for a night or 2 soon. Looking to stay at somewhere near Patpong for the first time. Anyone have any recommendations on a good clean guestfriendly hotel. If they have a late checkout of a few hours I could pay for would be ideal. Have heard Pavilion Place is close but conflicting reports on cleanliness of the rooms.
TarlC
Booked Bavana Hotel today on booking.com. Seems good value at 1500 baht and not to far from the bars.
eccentricfusion
If you are looking for something higher end, W Bangkok is an excellent hotel within walking distance. It's a few blocks but not hard to take girls back at all. They have never even stopped me from bringing one back up to the room.

plahgat
Pavilion Place is an old funky hotel with some dust in the corners and a few small cockroaches around, old standing aircon, noisy minifridge ( no free water) and old tv, bathroom and bedsheats clean enough though. It is surprisingly quiet from noise both from outside and from other rooms, and is situated above the Pink Panther a GoGo on Patpong2, making it very convenient to bring a barfine for a short time or two! Stayed here twice in 2013. If all you want is a bed for a night it's OK and cheap at about 700 baht low season on Agoda.com.
