0069
Planning to go to LOS for X-mas and New Year and want at least 3 days in BKK (rest in Pattaya). Used to live in BKK but in the outskirts and now when only having a few days i want to stay more central. The Star Inn is close to both NEP and SC (and next soi to Biergarten) so location is perfect - but what is it like?
WicKeD
I haven't stayed in The Star Inn but I stayed in Maxim's Inn at the bottom of Soi 7/1 and it wasn't bad at all for the money. It's a great soi to stay in if you ask me. Not too noisy and not too boring and close to the skytrain and everything else. Can't remember how much I paid, it was 2 years ago but anyway I think a good choice of soi.

wackyjacky
I've satyed at the Star Inn many Xs - albeit for 90 mins. each X. I don't care how much they fixed it up. I wouldn't bunk there IIWY. From the photos, Maxim's seems a reasonable option.
ianjamesmax
I've never stayed at the Star Inn,but it seems a lot like The World Inn,where I stayed one night before flying out to Vietnam the next day.It was alright just for one night of mongering, but I'd give The World Inn a miss From the reviews I've seen, Maxims does look the better option of the three in that area
sasau2801
Check out MAxim Inn at the end of Soi 7/1..its quite good actually, and they do provide breakfast too...rooms are better than average...get the superior deluxe..its good and not expensive...i stayed there twice on my trips... book through Agoda, rates are so much cheaper when on offer...
