Looking for apt for 3 weeks in bkk

Looking for advice.

 

I am going blind looking at hotels and apts online so I thought I would post. 

 

Going to bkk for 3 weeks in sept. I usually go to a hotel, then take side trips for a few days and then back to a hotel.

This time I was thinking of getting an apt for the whole 3 weeks and then not worry about booking hotels when coming back to bkk from side trips.

 

I like to stay in the sukhumvit area around Soi Cowboy. Near BTS too.

Budget would be around 25000 baht, a pool would be nice but not mandatory.

I understand i would have to rent for the whole month but thats ok.

 

Any suggestions?

Gonna be a bit tough to find an apartment that wants to rent out for only 3 weeks in that area for 25k I think because the going rate for someone who has a 6-12 month lease and 3 months deposit is 25k and up up up for a decent apartment.

 

Have you checked Craigslist or couch surfer type sites? You might luck out and find someone who will be gone that same period and wants to just do a short term rental.

 

25k for 21 days is 1100 per day so you might need to sacrifice the location you have in mind or get a cheap hotel that will discount you a bit for a long stay.
