zitfacedgeek
I will be taking my Bangkok cherry trip later this month. Simple question: do hotels in Bangkok take walk-ins (ie. without an advance reservation?) I was considering staying at Majestic Suites - reserve in advance the first night only, and if I like it, extend the stay. Would there be any issues with doing this? somjit
Sure not at this time of the year. But you will probably get better deals by booking online (Agoda, Hotels2Thailand, etc)
Brit In Myanmar
Yes hotles will take walk ins and at this time of year most are likely not to be full. Personally the last think I want to do on holiday is walk around trying to find a hotel. Bangkok is one of the best cities in the world for reasonably priced hotels. Look for recommendations in your proce range and you really are very unlikely to go wrong.
zitfacedgeek
Thanks for the info. The reason I'm planning on doing this is I might take a side trip to Pattaya for a few days, but it's still up in the air, so I need to have some flexibility.
