  1. I have an annual check up at Bumrungrad. Not cheap but comprehensive https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/packages/comprehensive-advance-male
  2. This is a popular hotel and particularly at the weekends it can get very busy around the pool. But for me it is worth it, with all the plants around you really do not feel like you are in the centre of bangkok. The food is also excellent.
  3. January is normally a busy month in Bangkok so it is unlikely that you will get a good last minute deal (it is more likely that the hotel will be fully booked)
  4. Can you buy tickets in advance? eg if you are going from Asoke to Siam and ticket machine is quiet can you buy two tickets using the second ticket for the return journey or do you have to buy the ticket at the station you are leaving from?
  5. I think the 4 points is one of the best value hotels in Bangkok. It is normally considerably cheaper than the Hyatt, Westin, Sofitel etc. The rooms are good, bit nothing sepectacular, the roof to pool and bar is good, the buffet breakfast is decent enough. It is very guest friendly, you have the back door if you want but no one will say anything if you bring a girl or two in through the front door.
  6. Marriott Elite Member (Platinum and above) get - Free Breakfast (They have a special Executive breakfast for elites in Rossini's but you can also go to the main buffet) - Free Tea and coffee in the living room or room service all day - Free cocktails 4pm to 8pm in Bar Su, 6pm to 8pm in the Living Room (food options are quite limited compared to most lounges, just some small snacks) - Buttler Service - 2 pieces of free laundry per day -Upgrade to better room if available (unfortunately upgrades to suites are rare these days as they are too popular) - 4pm late check out guaranteed
  7. I have not stayed there, but have been to the rooftop bar which is very nice.
  8. You actually missed the main food court it is on I think the 5th floor.
  9. I've used the clinic at Soi 11 a few times and they are good - OP if you want to ask them if they will do the tests then their email is [email protected]
  10. I've stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton. The location is good in between SC and Nana. it is also definitely girl friendly.
  11. In Bangkok there are lots of hotels down by the river. It is very nice area to stay and gives easy access via the river to sights like the Grand Palace and Wat Arun etc. In Pattaya you need to stay outside of Pattaya to avoid the girly scene. I have stayed at the Sheraton Pattaya it is just outside of the town itself and is excellent.
  12. I was going to go there for lunch today but it was shut. Anyone know whether this was a one off or is it no longer opening during the day
  13. I'm another fan of the SGS for me it is the best hotel in the area. Yes you pay for it but especially if you are SPG Platinum you get what you pay for
  14. I think Nuch massage place on Sukhumvit between Soi 5 and 7 is an all ladyboy massage place at least the girls sitting outside I would say are all ladyboys
