Stable Lodge soi 8

I am staying at Stable Lodge now. As I had hoped my room is on the Soi 8 side rather than the back. I haven't heard any construction noise at all.

Around 2019 I booked a last minute trip to BKK and didn’t prebook a hotel.  I figured I could just show up at the Sukhumvit area with my luggage to look for a place to stay at the countless number of hotels in the area.  Unfortunately, I found that many hotels were quoting high rates at the time and I ended up dragging my luggage from place to place in the sweltering humidity looking for something reasonable.  At some point I ended up at Soi 8 (drenched in sweat) and went to Adelphi Suites who also quoted a ridiculous price although (I remember exactly what the amount was).  When the receptionist saw my visible shock they said that they agreed the price was high but mentioned that they’re not the specific individuals that set the prices.  The receptionist was kind enough though to refer me to the Stable Lodge which is basically across the street from Adelphi Suites which turned out to have more reasonable prices so I ended up staying there for that particular trip.  No issues bringing with girls back to my room.

I don’t remember the details of the costs but I do remember that I slept well so the location must’ve been quiet at the time and I did find the location on Soi 8 to be an easy base to travel around from.
