Frosty
The location is great. The non-view windows are something to ponder. They allow the frosted light in, but no view. Good for the room, not for hanging out at the hotel. If I recall, this is still a smoke-free hotel.
Frosty
This hotel is still guest-friendly, right? I've heard a few hotels are now charging a joiner-fee and want to make sure this isn't the case here. Actually, do we have a list somewhere of GF hotels w/out joiner fees? Dieter
RAM8 - Thank you for all the info. I stayed here and I liked it. True no window and no bum gun but clean and very convenient. Friendly staff and chic environment for a 40 room hotel. Breakfast and service were a plus. I had a good night sleep here. I did not need to bring anyone into the room because I just discovered Aviva opposite the hotel reception. I posted a separate report on Aviva. RAM8
Aviva was closed on my visit due to Songkran holiday... looked interesting - will search for your report.
Frosty
Stayed at the hotel again. Still the same place it always is but there are a few locals living there due to the flooding on the edges of the capital. Here's a view of the hotel from the back alley. This is how you'll enter in the evening/night as the front door at the restaurant is closed. The entrance is at the end of the alley on the right. It's behind the 'Eight Plus' sign in the picture. jay757
looks awesome but i don't think i can stay in a windowless room especially worried on losing track of time, could be in there for days without releasing :P
