  1. Thanks, any suggestion as to what I would write?

I usually send the following email to the hotel

    Sawasdee khrap,

during my next holiday in Thailand I'll stay a couple of days in Bangkok. I prefer hotels that provide quality accommodation and friendly services at a convenient location. It seems that "Name of the Hotel of my Choice" fits all my needs. I checked out your website, but unfortunately I didn't found all the informations I was looking for.

Therefore I'd like to ask you for some more detailed informations.

    - Do you offer a limousine transfer from Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hotel? If yes how much do you charge for it?

    - Do you offer Wifi in the rooms? If yes how much do you charge for it?

    - Do you have a special policy for joining guests?

    - What are the hours of operations of the pool?

I really appreciate your kind help.

    best regards

I always got a satisfying asnwer

  2. Thanks for the reply. I collect and spend Hyatt points, so that's why I am interested.

    ok, that changes everything

I guess from the Hyatt I would have to cab it. That is fine. Cabs are cheap.

You can take BTS on your way to NEP or Soi Cowboy. It's an easy walk to Chitlom station from Hyatt and from there it's just 2 stations to NEP (station Nana) or 3 stations (station Asoke) to Soi Cowboy. If you want to take a taxi it takes a detour (and a little more money) though Ploenchit Road is a one way street in that area.

On your way back taxi is perfect, a 5 minute ride and your're there

  3. Any advice on staying at the Hyatt

Don't stay there, so many better options in Bangkog for less money

    ... and mongering?

    I't's gf

but is it convenient for gogo's and any other pick up types.

It takes a 5 minutes cab ride from NEP and 7 minutes cab ride from Soi Cowboy. For me that's convenient.

and any other pick up types.

There's a famous FL bar/disco at Hyatt: Spasso. Lot's of quality and non-quality girls from all over the world who will ask for quality money

    What about soapies, any nearby?

The nearest soapies are Annie's at Soi 2 and Venus Turkish Bath House & Massage at Ratchadamri Road (Near Bangkok City Inn hotel). Though it's just a short walk to BTS station Chitlom it will take just a couple of minutes and you can enjoy some real naughty massage shops like Mango Massage, EZ 1, Tulip, Snow White, Angel Massage or Cherry Massage

I have staid at the Sheraton and know that area

Doesn't matter, because both Sheraton Grand Sukhumvit and Royal Orchid Sheraton are located in different areas.

  4. There's no right or wrong depending on where you stay and where you want to go.

If you want to do some sightseeing stuff (like Wat Phra Cheo, Wat Po, Wat Arun), you're better off taking a taxi. If you want to have some fun at night at The PIMP (or a similar venue), then you're also better take a taxi. If you just want to get along Sukuhumvit Road nothing beats the BTS. And if you want to geet to the famous massage parlors at Ratchada area, then MRT usually is the best option.

I'd always choose my transportation depending on the location where I want to go. Sometime I take a taxi, somtime I take BTS and sometimes I even walk.

  5. Not a street of shame just big city life where people do what is necessary to survive .

You're right about, but imho this still doesn't make Sukhumvit Road interessting, at least not between Soi 1 and Soi 23. Once you pass Thonglor, then it starts getting interessting, because there are nearly no farangs arounds.

  6. What do you think about this decision of mine?

There's nothing wrong about cancelling Aspen Suites, but to cancel it for Nasa Vegas doesn't make sense at all, as long as you don't want to spend most of the day at massage parlors like Nancy, Aviva or Meree. At least at night it's near The Pimp.

For anything else it will takes a ride with a taxi and keep in mind that Petchburi Road and Sukhumvit Road are usually a good bet for heavy traffic jam.

Depending on your budget there are a lot of hotels at Sukhumvit area where it just takes some small steps or a short ride with skytrain/taxi ans you are in the middle of the action.

Maybe you check out these hotels

    Kingston Suites

    Pechara Suite

    Majestic Suites

    Mac Boutique Suites

    Sil Q

    The Fusion Suites
