Taxi driving is a good earner. I have had taxi driver friends tell me they clear 30,000 a month and that wasn't even in Bangkok. It was a big upcountry city. I think we vastly underestimate what locals earn in most cases. Standard Thai massage will earn about 20,000 a month (including tips of course). My EX is doing that now. I got mines done in the private wing of Ramathibodi Hospital (university teaching hospital) called, Somdech Phra Debaratana Medical Centre (very modern facility) about 8 years ago. The urologist was really good, ethical too. He almost did give me one cos of my age. Quick, easy. 12,000 baht. No problems with recovery. Recommended. Without a doubt the best private hospital that has properly trained staff with experience and expertise offering value for money prices.

How to get to the downstairs part? Is it from inside the hotel?

Hi guys, Looking to compile a list of short-time hotels here in Sukhumvit that we can all use as a resource. Cos I know it is frustrating when you pay over the odds for accommodation, lol. Just basically, the name of hotel, short time rate, and the soi.

There are a handful of massage parlours that are all accustomed to offering the usual extras same as Bangkok (full service mostly), a little karaoke bar area with rooms in the back (very cheap, full service), and I had a fair bit of luck with Thaifriendly there. I think Tinder could be okay too (not sure about P4P, but certainly dating, GFs). There is actually a couple of soapy places (the rooms have a big bathtub with bubbles), but pricey in my opinion. If you monger long enough in Ubon you find some gems that come and go, especially in the massage parlours and karaoke bars. PM me for specific details. Or just ask here. That said I noticed a lot of places disappear with covid. Hopefully just temporary
