  1. Yes the site is very slow loading recently. I got the same warning about a virus today, I am using  AVAST as my firewall. Whatever it detected it was bloked and I scanned the computer afterwards using AVAST and Sophos and go an all clear. If it happens again I will note the details of the infection

  2. While they have banned Yinluck and some other ministers they have not banned the all of her party so they are still running the caretaker Government. I have a feeling the July elections will not take place as the yellow shirts are likely to adopt the same tactics as in February and make them invalid.

My reading is the Army will not go or an all out coup as they fear a backlash with more civil unrest but thet will apply pressure to both sides to reach an understanding.

  3. It takes 3 hours to fly to AC from BKK the cost is about 8000B return I think. Spend a week or so in AC trying the night life there then go back to BKK and collect another 30 days visa on arrival.

  4. I am sure the language schools will not want to loose customers so ways around any tightening of the rules will be found. Educational visas are still exploited  by many 'colleges/schools' in Oz and the UK even after both Governments said they were tightening the rules and the checks. Both Oz and UK  are not known for officials turning a blind eye in the right circumstances. In Thailand where officials are more likely to come to an understanding I am sure this any tightening of the rules will not be a problem but it might make the courses more expensive.

  5. I have a feeling the red shirt protests are currently more about putting some pressure on the  court looking at the charges against the PM.Once she knows her fate things will be clearer.  The red shirt leaders were talking about civil war if the PM looses but based on part history the military will step in if there is danger of this. Any thought of a civil war or major unrest would harm Thailand's economy so much the military would step in.

  6. The Rembrant Hotel has a no guest policy as I discovered with no option to pay a joining fee. Checked out the next day never been back. What really pissed me off was the doorman after my girl was turned away suggested for a tip (500B) he could help. Just wait in my room and there would be a knock on my door in 10 minutes time.

The girl soon found us a place for the night no questions.

  7. Based on reports in the western media the lawyers are now taking over and the legality of the elections on Sunday is being challenged by the protesters. Given that the appeal has gone to the same body that recommended the elections were delayed the protesters could get a sympathic hearing. Added to this several members of the Governing party are now facing charges that could ban them from holding office in the future. China has just stopped buying rice from Thailand because of concerns over the Government rice purchasing scheme so the rice farmers are not getting paid. As it is the farmer that support the Government party this could cause them problems in the future.

These problems have been going on in Thailand for years and regularly come to a head, I am sure we have several more months to run but while it is going on all sides will try to ensure the tourist trade is not impacted. While BKK might be suffering a drop in tourist numbers as far as I can tell the other tourist locations are not effected or even doing better. .

  8. I cannot really comment about effectiveness or side effects as i have only tried Cialis once when a mate gave me one to try.  I had no side efects but I am not sure how effective they were as so far I do not normally get problems. I cum OK.

  9. If they are not using the meter always ask before you get in the taxi and check if the price includes the highway tolls. There is a 50B surcharge rom the airport. There are ways to avoid this if you know the system. On the meter expect to pay about 350B but it does depend on the traffic.

  10. If pre polling goes ahead on Sunday then there will be restrictions on the sale of alcohol and in the part even when there were no protests some bars closed up as it is just not worth opening. I do not think there will be any problems travelling to or round most of BKK and if you stay clear of the protest sites I do not think there is any great danger. Cowboy appears to be the most effected as it is right next to one of the big protest sites but Nana looks to be fine.

  11. I believe it is a 'herbal remedy' with a natural ingredient (from plants) that is claimed to produce a similar effect as ED pills. Not sure if there has ever been any double blind testing to confirm the effectiveness or to confirm the side effects/safety. With most herbal remedies there is a element of hit and miss and it could be more a physciological that physical effect.

I am also not sure the quality control on the making of these product or if there is one or several makers - it could be just some ground up leaves sold to some unsuspecting punter who is never going to ask for his money back. No idea what they cost but if you need some help with ED I would suggest the established products. If you are worried about side effects take half or a quarter pill the first time.
