  1. I'm sure it's me not you. When I want to respond to a topic I push the quote button and the window to type opens but no quote of the post that I want to use comes with it. I've tried highlighting the text I want - still nothing. Works for me on Pattaya Addicts and other forums, just not here. Just using explorer and chrome on a windows 10 laptop. Any advice welcome, cheers
  2. There are kings and queens in BKK but you'll have to up your $$$. Small cheap hotels typically have small cheap beds....possibly with small critters in them
  3. +1 cotton boxers...and dry well in the creases after showering. Recently lost 12 kg and chafing stopped.
  4. I'm historically an Expedia user but have been trying Hotels Combined recently which then comes up with the price from the Agodas and Expedias of the world...Agoda does seem to have good prices.
  5. Not in my opinion, you may then feel tied to the landmark to "get your monies worth" meanwhile there are many other things you could be doing.
  6. If you mean Check Inn 99 - with Music of the Heart band - that used to be on Sukhumvit near Soi 5 .... they have moved 3 times in the last 2 years...soon to be opening on Soi 33 after extensive renovations....Maybe early June.
  7. Been back home 10 days, checking flights already

  8. "On 8 " ....Soi 8 is my go to . It has a sukhumvit entrance during the day and early evening right on Nana Station and other times enter via the first right hand sub soi off 8. Safe, clean, price, (no windows) girl friendly
  9. No FL's obvious at the Huntsman last Sat. The only FL's I ever see at the Landmark are elegant mid 30's but look younger girls that buy a tall beer and sip it at the tables above the front footpath trying to catch your eye as you go past. Never taken them up but some do look nice, particularly if you want someone who dresses well and doesn't look like a bar girl.
  10. I haven't stayed there for a couple of years but prior to that I was a regular. Nothing but praise from me for the Landmark...it is an old style hotel, but is well maintained. Being older, perhaps the walls are thicker. Never had any noise other than passing Indians outside in the corridor, but being more expensive, they are not common. When I stayed there - no joiner fee, but the security took the girls card and called in the morning when she left to see that all was OK before she left. I as at the downstairs bar (Huntsman) last Saturday and had a ripping night with dancing and live music.
  11. 2 more sleeps 'till wheels up

  12. 5 Days until wheels-up

  13. I've never found much for me at Pratunam (I'm 6'2"), but there is some food stuff at Chatuchak weekend market - if you are there on the weekend. Chatuchak has some good hand made / craft clothing that might be what you're after.
  14. I seem to have a problem whereby if I want to insert someone else's post in my post by hitting the quote button I just get an empty text box to type into . This is the only forum that this happens to me on, is there a setting I need to change? IE, Windows 10
  15. For a free answer you could try "ask Sunbelt Legal" in Stickman Bangkok. So long as you don't mind everyone else seeing the answer it will give you a feel for options.
  16. I had a lovely time at HH in July last year. A buddy and mine had a couple of very nice ladies to chat to in bintabaht which I would have been happy to follow thru with except for out wives back at the hotel.....on my own in April,...will be seeking them out. May not be a 10 but a 6 that's fun does it for me many times over at 10.
  17. Price =quality - mainly in the material used
