I recently wanted to change an Airbnb reservation I made a day before and discovered they have a policy where you can't cancel once you reach 30 days before the stay. I contacted my credit card company and cancelled the charge with no problem. They just asked if I knew there was a no cancellation policy, which I didn't. Don't know if doing this would hurt your credit, but it worked out for me. In fairness, afterward I contacted Airbnb and they did cancel the reservation. I'll add hotels.com as a booking website where you can cancel up until the day before.

I used the elevators in the BTS stations when I had luggage without asking anyone. The only problem is at some stations they only go up one floor and sometimes you need to go up two.

I took Bell Travel Service. They pick you up at your hotel in a van and take you to their bus station where you transfer to a big bus for the trip to Pattaya. In Pattaya, you switch into a van and they drop you off at your hotel. Costs 370 baht a person. Might be easier if you have a lot of luggage.
