I just got an Annual Pass and must say it's been worth it, already used it 5 times.

Gets you away from the herds and Lounges have free food and drinks. Would cost more in normal restaurants in the departure areas.

I am staying at The Grand President at the moment and for the price it's not too bad. It's very quiet so don't see herds coming and going.

I kid you not, I was once shown trouser material with printed markings 'Swiss made for Thailand'

I have always used Barons, Sukhumvit Road - Soi 7. Bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Good for monogrammed shirts, trousers, jackets, suits, etc

Still one of the cheaper destinations of the world. Value for money in my opinion.

Bukhara Indian Restaurant, corner of Soi 7 and Sukhumvit, is my all time favourite Indian in Bangkok.
