very nice pool, I see what they meant by instagram worthy. Is it quite busy and are there a lot of people by the pool?

This is a popular hotel and particularly at the weekends it can get very busy around the pool. But for me it is worth it, with all the plants around you really do not feel like you are in the centre of bangkok. The food is also excellent.

@hbit I created a quick example website to host the BKK info lists like short-time hotels and BJ bars

    http://nsfw-adult-bkk.glitch.me/

If there is sufficient interest I will make a better version.

To everyone please let me know what you think and/or what else you like to see on there.

At the bottom of the page there is also a link to Bangkok Addicts

Looks good, thanks for the effort

  3. I think the 4 points is one of the best value hotels in Bangkok. It is normally considerably cheaper than the Hyatt, Westin, Sofitel etc. The rooms are good, bit nothing sepectacular, the roof to pool and bar is good, the buffet breakfast is decent enough. It is very guest friendly, you have the back door if you want but no one will say anything if you bring a girl or two in through the front door.

  4. Marriott Elite Member (Platinum and above) get

    - Free Breakfast (They have a special Executive breakfast for elites in Rossini's but you can also go to the main buffet)

    - Free Tea and coffee in the living room or room service all day

    - Free cocktails 4pm to 8pm in Bar Su,  6pm to 8pm in the Living Room (food options are quite limited compared to most lounges, just some small snacks)

    - Buttler Service

    - 2 pieces of free laundry per day

-Upgrade to better room if available (unfortunately upgrades to suites are rare these days as they are too popular)

    - 4pm late check out guaranteed

  5. I have no personal experience with this lab clinic in Bangkok, but personally know others who do and they recommend.

It's a small storefront clinic on a cul de sac off of soi 11 behind the 7/11 opposite the ambassador hotel.

You can check to see if they will do the tests for you there.

Also heard of a clinic near cabbages and condoms restaurant but not sure if they only do STD tests or not.

I've used the clinic at Soi 11 a few times and they are good - OP if you want to ask them if they will do the tests then their email is

    [email protected]
  6. i think the big risk for this weekend is that the pre-polling should take place if the 2nd Feb elections are going to go ahead. So this will give the 1st real indication on whether the election will go ahead. Either way one side or the other will not be happy so I think there is a risk that there will be an adverse reaction to this.

Also if the pre polling does go ahead then it will count as an election day itself so the no alcohol rule will be in place. With the lack of customers anyway I think we will see a lot of bars shutting down.
