where can i find nice male massage in bangkok?
SimonCheng replied to bkkgal's topic in General discussion about Bangkok
Patpong soi 2 ....... several gigolo bars / agogos / massages around that area...... I'm sure you can find something that suits you. -
I guess they have not changed their policy. I asked a travel agency to do an enquiry booking for a tour group and somewhere during the exchange of emails this came up......" Please note that this hotel operates exclusive contracts with other vendors to service specific markets and thus these rates do not apply to nationals of Bangladesh, India, Pakistan. We apologise for the inconvenience." And there is a joiner fee of 550baht for each extra guest.

I hope you are not South Indian. Bay Breeze has a policy of not accepting Indians. I had stayed there on a couple of occasions and hand liked the hotel..... so I recommended it to a business associate who brought some of his staff there on a company trip. But he got a surprise when they were rejected at the hotel despite having reservations as his staff were from India. And it was stated on their website in fine print that the Bay Breeze Hotel do not accept customers from the Indian Subcontinent due to some vendor contractual issues bullshit. This happened about 2 years ago and we have since boycotted it. I do not know whether they have changed this policy or it is still in practice.

to add on to earlier post..... it's for rooms above 5th floor and upwards. The lower floors have windows that are fixed dead and riveted. -
Majestic Suites balcony?
SimonCheng replied to BangkokHot's topic in Hotels & Accommodations in Bangkok
All Majestic Suites rooms does not have balconies..... but those rooms facing the main road from Nana have double slider window panels and the end portion can be opened for ventilation if you want to smoke. Of course if you open them then you get the noise from the traffic coming in. -

Cheap fresh seafood in BKK?
SimonCheng replied to still_shameless's topic in Restaurants, Places to Eat and nightlife
Seafood is not as easily available now as more than 75% of the fishing vessels are stuck in port and not going out to sea due to some idiotic ruling by the government with regards to some licensing issues (some say the pressure is coming from IUU on the Thai Government) The fishery ports are idle most of the time and workers have turn them into mini casinos to pass the time. Many other workers in related industries are being let go and become jobless. -

There is a rundown looking 3-storey building on Thanon Prasanaha Soi 1..... most of the units in this building deal with 2nd hand stuff and recycle them including mobiles.
-
The room does look a bit crammed and smallish.

Getting an infamous Asian haircut
SimonCheng replied to bob_ny's topic in General discussion about Bangkok
They have some people canvassing for clients outside the salon. It is common knowledge and pretty obvious to passers by and neighbors that these are "black" salons as tuk tuks & motosais keeping dropping off guys there quite frequently. -

Best Japanese in BKK ?

Isao is not authentic Japanese cuisine. It is Japanese fusion cuisine moderated to western palates. The Japanese expatriate community in Bangkok prefers Mugendai Sushi or Zuma for authentic Japanese cuisine. I also liked to eat at these 2 joints when I crave for Japanese food. :p -
Have you guys given a thought to service apartments? Some of them are very value for money and comparable to hotels...... and for service wise they are often a notch up on the hotels.

Another(cheaper)Fast-track option
SimonCheng replied to ianjamesmax's topic in Transportation & Travel
Yes.... fingerprinting and mugshot is compulsory for all visitors now. This is also applied to Malaysia & Singapore due to some security agreement between these countries. I understand the data collected is shared amongst these countries. -
For short term tourists staying in LOS less than a month the DTAC Happy Tourist SIM card is the best. Available at 7-11 and any mobile or DTAC shops. Only 49 baht and very easy to navigate even for internet idiots. Top up with either 50, 100, 200 or 300 baht depending on your expected usage. I topped mine with 100 baht and at the end of my 4 day trip I still had a balance of 28 baht when I left LOS.

Lol..... Charon is a family owned pharmacy that evolved from a TCM ...... and one of the owner's son is a policeman. Sometimes you can see him in the shop when he's off duty. -
