Gets the Mods to convince the forum admin to buy a taps talk API. Uploading pics from there becomes easy. I did the whole of my last trip report from my phone using tapatalk.
The forum is already on tapatalk.

1- Just take a metered taxi from the airport.
3- The only way to know for sure is to contact the hotel direct and explain the situation to them.
4- If you have an unlocked phone that will work here, just get a sim card when you arrive.

You would be better off to go to the nearest BTS station and take that to Saphan Taksin station. You can take the ferry from there to get to the Grand Palace. This way you eliminate having to deal with all the traffic on the roads.
When taking a taxi, just have him use the meter. It will be cheaper than any flat rate the driver will agree to take you for.
Don't even bother with the tuk tuks unless you just want to say you took one.

FINAL questions:
1 If my return flight starts at 12pm (noon) on 3rd Aug, so I will be checking out at 8am morning. Do i need to book hotel till 3rd Aug or 2nd Aug?
You'll need to book until the 3rd. If you book until the 2nd, they will expect you to checkout on the 2nd.

Do these taxis they get use the meter or do they try to get you to do a flat rate?
Personally, if I were to stay in a hotel in that area, I'd stay on soi 8. It's a much nicer soi in my opinion.
-
I'm not walking down the whole Soi with a suitcase and bag.
Which is exactly what you'll be doing when you go to get a taxi upon leaving.

I'v heard good things of this school. I'd be interested to know what you think of the school. If you can, give us an update on how you like the school after you've been going there a while.

BA is now on tapatalk.

Considering the current situation, it's probably a good idea to avoid having to do visa runs. As long as you'll be able to be back from Australia before your 90 day reporting is due, you should be fine with the single entry. Just remember to go get your re-entry permit before you go.
Which school are you going to attend?
-
You would do a border run, only if you had a multiple entry. You will have to go to Immigration to have your stay extended every 90 days on a single entry visa. The school will have paperwork for you to take to immigration. This way they can decide to not extend your stay, if they think you're not actually going to school. I haven't heard of this happening to anyone yet. However, with the way things are now, it wouldn't surprise me.
If you wanted to leave the country, you will need to go to immigration and get a re-entry permit. If you fail to do this, your visa will be done. I believe you would also have to be back in time to go to immigration before your 90 days was up.
You might want to check out the thread over at Thaivisa dealing with the stricter requirements for the Ed visa.

Yes the site is very slow loading recently. I got the same warning about a virus today, I am using AVAST as my firewall. Whatever it detected it was bloked and I scanned the computer afterwards using AVAST and Sophos and go an all clear. If it happens again I will note the details of the infection
If you could PM me the details of the warning, I'll pass that info along. As of right now, they are being told there is a network issue and that is why the pages are slow.
-
I haven't had any such incident, but I'll pass the word on.

BA doesn't have it and to be honest I'm not really sure why. I'll try to find out, if we can get it added.
