  1. Yes, I would recommend Phachara Suites. 1 bedroom executive is great but if you want to save money on lodging so you can divert the savings to entertainment then the 1 bedroom studio is comfortable but less expensive than the executive suite. I've stayed in both of them. Check out Agoda.com for special deals. Here is a link to pictures of the 1 bedroom executive; http://www.bangkok-addicts.com/forum/topic/1108-4-5-hotel-or-similar/page__st__12. I took them last time I stayed there. Also know that the 1 BR Exec comes with a balcony also.
  2. Not sure if this posting is in time before you get into country but I also like Phachara Suites. It is a serviced apartment and you get more room and comfort for the same price you would pay at the Marriott or Sheraton. Check out this link I posted on Phachara, http://www.bangkok-addicts.com/forum/topic/1108-4-5-hotel-or-similar/page__st__12. No joiner fee (guest friendly) and just think about the money you save on the room can go to your entertainment. Sure there's others. I recommend Agoda.com, for deals and ratings. Plug in your dates and click Sukhomvit filter. Stay between Soi 4 and Soi 22 hotels. Good luck.
  3. Mongering is the Barbarian way.

  4. I stayed in Citadines Soi 11 back in February 2010 for 5 days. I stayed in the 1 bedroom suite and found it quite comfortable for 1 but tight for 2. Price is right and the accommodations are modern and clean. The in room wireless internet had a strong signal so no problem with surfing the net. If you're on a budget I would recommend Citadines Soi 11 for your stay.
