puthsardarade
Hi, I will be staying near Nana BTS but also plan to go to MBK, can anyone advise on the best place I could go to exchange my pounds? Also are there any free ATM's or are they all chargeable now? If there are free to use ATM's which ones and where could I find them? I recall a few years back there was one. Thanks

Thanks If you are short of Bahts when you land there's a SuperRich Exchange on Level B (Basement) of Suvarnabhumi Airport. Just down the slope on the left. Slightly better rate at Nana SuperRich which is located behind the ticket barriers of Nana BTS, opens at 10am. http://www.grandsuperrich.com/index.php Also a branch of Vasu Exchange on the corner of Sukhumvit Soi 7/1. http://www.vasuexchange.com/

dexxter2010
SuperRich also have a downloadable app for Android phones which show their current rates at all their branches, as well as locations. Just go to the Google Playstore and search for SuperRich.
Zgr81
The only way to get a free ATM is to have a Thai bank Account. Unfortunately they all charge the 220 baht fee for any international transaction. Also be aware, every ATM will ask you if you want to use their special "Conversion factor". Always answer NO, "Continue without conversion" as the rates your bank use will be much better (At least from the USA they are). The other way is if you have a smaller bank in the USA that refunds the ATM fees, but I'm not sure they refund the international fees (only ATM fees from the other US banks). Also, if you need a superrich and rode the Airport Rail Link, there is a branch at the PhayaThai - Airport Rail Link station now.

sanukusa
There is also a Superrich on the Sky train at Terminal 21 and Nana. They had the best rates in BKK when I was there in September. You do have to buy a ride to use them at Nana but no line. The line at Terminal 21 was long
mrfreeze
Also there is 2 Super Rich companies - Super Rich Green and Super Rich Orange. The branches exchange rate is usually slightly lower than the head office rate but not enough to worry about.
dexxter2010
There is also a SuperRich up on the 4th or 5th floor (the banking floor) of the Central Mall at MRT Phra Ram 9 if you are around that area (2 stops north of Asoke/Sukhumvit). That mall also has some really good cinemas up on the top floor.... and an ice skating/ice hockey rink. :) Edited November 17, 2017 by dexxter2010
