From my experience there was no traffic in BKK during Songkran because everyone was off work. I would guess that traveling out of BKK could be a traffic nightmare. Last time I was in BKK for Songkran was 1988, so does anyone have any more current Songkran details? I also remember that a lot of girls would go back home in the north during Songkran, so there were less girls in the bars. Is that true these days?? The loose plan at this stage is to be in Thailand April 9 to 24 My birthday is the 17th so going to make the most of Songkran and it. No idea yet on time spent between BKK and Pattaya, that sstill to be decided I'm late 40's fat and ugly B) No problem all you need is a few Baht in your pocket... Ambar has a party pool starting around midday with an entry fee of 400Baht -one drink included. Never been in a party pool there and spotted the advert on FB. Nice place, very reasonable prices for food and drink and the crowd usually is mixed.(Thais and ......) Always have been with "normal" ladies. I am Interested in checking out the scene at Climax, and Terminal as I have never been there. Plus all the usual suspects at Nana, Cowboy, and Massage scene.
