The Rembrandt girl friendly?

Anyone had a girl at The Rembrandt? Their policy is 1000 joiner fee, but is it enforced?

I stayed there back in 2007 - on my first trip to Thailand.  The door man said it wasn't guest friendly but things may have changed now.

I stayed in the "long stay" apartments  for two consecutive years ('10 & '11), had girls spend the night many times. Never got charged any joiner fees.  The desk staff would look when I came in with a girl but no one ever said anything. The manager ( an Indian guy) saw me a few times with a girl but nothing was ever said.

Never stayed in the hotel rooms.

Walked in the door furthers away from the reception desk and had no problem. Seems like the same as the Landmark, policy is joiner fee, but not enforces as long as you are discreet. There seems to be more families staying here than most other hotels in Sukh, so I can understand their policy.
