texan7951
True is it. you have to prepay then read the instructions how to load your prepay $ into your data plan. Phones and data plans are CHEAP.
Kimao
AIS has 399 unlimited data. First 1GB is 3G then if you go over it's throttled back a bit They give you a free wifi password too for any AIS wifi spot (big malls mostly)

Kimao
It's a month. It will automatically re-up after a month if you don't cancel and have enough balance. It's AIS 1-2-call which is the pre-paid arm of the business.
zingerhk
I like DTAC, but TRUE gives away SIM Cards at the airport immigration, which can make it convenient.
HarleyRider
On my last trip in November, I bought a True SIM. I will be back in LOS in a couple of weeks :) Will the SIM still work, or do they expire if not used in X number of months. Thanks Edited August 2, 2014 by HarleyRider

Available at 7-11 and any mobile or DTAC shops. Only 49 baht and very easy to navigate even for internet idiots. Top up with either 50, 100, 200 or 300 baht depending on your expected usage. I topped mine with 100 baht and at the end of my 4 day trip I still had a balance of 28 baht when I left LOS.

Skepti10
If you're not planning on using it much then I recommend dtac. They have a 99b/30 days data pack charge that includes 100mb data. Excellent if your hotel had decent wifi
