Bonkabit Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Best way may be: Down to basement at airport. Follow signs to train. 90THB/15 minutes for train to Makkasan. Runs every ten minutes. From there, either: Take taxi, usually about 70THB to Sukhumvit area on meter but who knows how long with any demos; or take metro if you can lug your baggage - see metro/Skytrain map. Bar4 Posted January 14, 2014 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Roads to Sukhumvit Soi 1 are open from the airport via normal route - tollway and exit at Ploenchit to Sukhumvit. If anything it is easier to get to Suk Soi 1 as there is very little traffic at all. Same for Soi 3 and Soi 4 - bugger all traffic.
