kali
when your visa expires, go to the local immigration office at the place you will be staying and they will give you one extra month if you ask for it. cant remember if they charge anything or not. blue-eyes
just go to the immigration office or ask a travel agent to take care of it, they will give you a final 30 day extension. If I can remember its THB 1,900. Just make sure you wont go on the last day of your visa cos it might be crowded and you have to go back the next day, in which case you overstayed 1 day and have to pay a small fine. stevebny
If you're in BKK proper do NOT go to the Immigration Office on Suan Plu. That's for the immediate neighboring countries. The real one is out in the suburbs and is a huge effing place. Get there early like before 8:30. WIth luck it shouldn't take more than an hour to extend for 1900B. rowy
Here is a link to the info about its location on the immigration website. I would get there by 8am.
Georim79
Beem there a few times by now, usually arrived at 12:30, had the papers filled at the copy shop downstairs, and went in when they come back from lunch break at 13:00, it usually takes less than 1 hour all together. Bar4
I went in the afternoon the other day. About 2.30 pm. Really quick. Take a photocopy of main/front passport page, entry stamp and TMR (white) card. Also need a photo. There is a photo and copy shop down 1 floor if needed. You can get the application form off the website. Hardest part is getting the idiot taxi driver to get you there. There is a map on the website but that just confuses the clowns. Note they close between 12 - 1 pm. So 2 pm allows them to clear the backlog. Cheers, Mark Edited October 9, 2012 by Bar4

Wow, been on that website numerous times and never saw that page. Had a friend show me how to get there by baht bus from Mo Chit on the cheap. Thanks.
