dick.harry77
Hi, Can anybody recommend a good place to buy few pieces of furniture in BKK. Will they help me to get it shipped to Europe? Thanks
Mission
Hi, Depending on what you want I would recommend either Jatujak market on the weekends which have a huge section of furniture and about 10 shipping companies dottedaround the market. Or I would say go to the likes of MBK And Siam.

hdrake
I have tried to ship a very small sitting stool once before and never dared doing it again. It was actually so expensive and would just probably worth it, if it holds some sentimental value or you could just not find anything similar from where you live. I do not suggest that you give it a try, but if you really have to, then you are left with no choice. They measure it by its weight and its dimension, whichever would apply greater amount on the item.
thecaptain
if the wood is not treated correctly it could split when settled in a different tempreture i have shipped back some items before now and some of the woodern items split in transit due to tempreture changes

thecaptain
after a time the wood filler will start to show at the joints where they are not cut properly and stained over so be warned
