Codliver
Are there any recommended IV Therapy services for hangovers? I have seen a lot that advertise vitamin drips, but would like to know if there is a go-to for a hangover cure IV. Thank you.
Wilson5206
This is one of the things I've always wanted to research and look into. Not much info on the forums about it but it gets asked once in a blue moon. I first got to experience this in Las Vegas, in the lobby of a big casino hotel. It was around $130usd for the Vitamin Drip. The combination of drinking, partying and Bangkok's weather, a IV drip is definitely useful. Here's my suggestion for BKK. https://clinic.blez-web.com/en/services/vitamin-iv/ I'll throw this one in too for Pattaya because the famous AJ gave me the info for this spot. But I don't know the prices..

eddydb
In Pattaya try the Wellthyme Wellness Center. It was recommended to me by members of the Pattaya Forum. I started feeling sick (cough, sore throat) on my last trip and immediately went to the clinic for a Meyer's Cocktail which is an IV drip of vitamins C, B, Zinc, Magnesium, Calcium, etc. I started to feel better that night and I was 100% after 24 hours. ricktoronto
All those vitamins and minerals are well absorbed orally and would cost a fraction of a needless IV. Oral rehydration salts are helpful especially if taken before sleeping and cost about 6B a package. Hangovers are caused by dehydration and congeners from the liquor. Not a lack of vitamins. There's a large group here who would walk a kilometer to save 70B at an ATM but they're likely spending hundreds or thousands on an IV? Crikey. Seems daft. And why anyone would get an IV in a non hospital setting with that risk baffles me.
little_me
Just pick up a Gatorade on the way home from the bar.

ricktoronto
An IV for a hangover is money wasted. Gatorade isn't that great a rehydration drink due to it's huge sugar content but ORS does help. For 15 cents. The byproducts of the liver metabolizing alcohol and dehydration cause hangovers. You can drink water, take ORS and a B vitamin to offset some of the issues but an IV just spends money needlessly. Your body handles water just fine along with water soluble minerals and vitamins.
