Just had first trip to Bangkok. We got bored eating Burger King for tea a few nights so I did a quick search for steak houses and found Trajai Steak on Soi Si Bamphem in Sathon, just south of Silom.
We were a bit wary but It was a fantastic place. We went 3 nights in a row. It's small, only about 12/13 tables but this allows the staff to give a personal touch.
All 3 nights my pal had the 3-way (beef, lamb and crocodile) and I had the 2-way (two medium beef steaks in different sauce). We had one large bottle of Singha each. Came to 960 baht, that's less than £20!
The food was perfect and the staff very friendly, definately worth a visit if you are aching for a steak. There was also Thai and fish dishes on the menu.
