Same feelings her, I never been to Pattaya, but know phuket/patong inside out, and I like bangkok way more.

Just as described above, walk and watch the world go by.

I also sit on a wall, or a empty space and just watch the world stroll by. At daytime, packed with business people, at night-time the foodstalls, market stalls, p4p girls and cockroaches take over :)

First being there, on day 1 I regretted to see bangkok in any way, no fresh air, the smell, the dirt, more hot, almost no places to relax/sit down nice and quietly.

And now, I love it, is sure grows on you.

I know my way around, and visit the things I want to see. Smiling all day long... which in my country will not happen much...

Been to the JJ market also, was also in the lonely planet as a must-see.

Well, to be honest, I was in and out within 3 hours. Much of the same, found everywhere, but maybe a little cheaper if you can bargain really good.

Was nice to see, but will not go there again. I liked china-town more.

Also for me one of the best placed to be in bangkok next to the area surrounding khoa san road and afcourse china town for the many food varieties....

I'm planning to stay at the admiral premier hotel, soi 23, very close to Soi Cowboy, and prefer a suite.

Anyone been there or can tell me first hand experiences? On agoda it has good reviews.

Caught redhanded ;), 1981 is also part of my mail adress, were 1982 was already taken, so I kept with 1981 instead, too much hassle to use different names for everything.

I'm planning my trip again to LOS, and will be arriving on october 8th for a 2 weeks, starting and ending in bangkok.

My birthday will be spend there, so who's in town around these dates and willing to go for a drink with me.

Birthday is on october 9th.... will be around sukhumvit area, hotel will be near Cowboy as I'm too lazy to walk far.

WARNING:

Before you say yes, I will have to warn you, I've a couple of remarkable things.

- I'm blessed or cursed with a sense or humour, sarcastic, sexy, it cannot be enough.

- When drunk, I can say or do really stupid things, always not to be remembered anymore the next morning.

- I like the thai girls, so can never make up my mind about which one to take.

- Somehow I have the remarkable gift to empty my wallet and spending my precious baht sooner and more then I've planned ;)

- the last time I was there, I've been out with cattoc and pete, and they where never seen anymore, since then.. be advised.

My trip is over, unfortunately, and I'm heading back to a cold and windy holland within 24 hours.

Cannot wait to get back once again.
