  1. Thai women can get VERY jealous. Even worst is losing face. This topic reminds of the scene from Man From UNCLE.
  2. Visited here Christmas day 2021. Took me 4 different Thailand trips to finally get a seat. For the amount of stuff crabs inside, yeah it was worth it. Her other dish was good too. Yeah, it definitely is an Instagram thing. As far as actual waiting time, I never waited long. They say it's full, I say okay, I go somewhere else. The pandemic probably helped to finally succeed at getting a seat. I may have waited 5 minutes when I was finally successful. It took another 40+ minutes or so to finally have the food prepared.
  3. Thanks little_me. I am helping out a friend. The places I know are either hole in the walls, far away, or the wait is long. I'm not too familiar with the higher end hotel restaurants. Have you personally visited any yourself? I suggested the higher end malls like EmQuartier's spiral restaurants but didn't seem to be open to that suggestion. I think it's the stigma of "mall food" Americans have.
  4. I'm looking for recommendations for dinner with business clients. - The closer to Soi 57 the better. - Average per guest budget is $50-$100 including food and alcohol. - Comfortable enough for 9+ guests - Food type is open. Can be Thai, Italian, Japanese, fusion, etc.... - Unique qualities will be nice since these are international clients - No wait time seating - Strictly business, no naughty stuff
  5. Things may have changed but here is how I compare to the carriers True = T-Mobile low price. worst customer service experience. hardest to reach agent on the phone. Minutes counts against you when talking to them. AIS = ATT middle of the road DTAC = Verizon highest cost. Best customer service experience. Minutes don't count against you when talking to them. I used DTAC the first few times I visited Thailand because my Thai friends told me to. When I got to understand how things worked on subsequent visits, I switched to True. Don't need to call customer service for help anymore. This is from personal experience from visiting in the past decade. Things may and likely have changed.
