  1. I stayed 2 weeks in september this year at Citrus Suites on soi 6. Can absolute recommend this. Nice big room, clean, new and rooftop pool and bar. They had on my stay buy one get one every night for beer and some drink. No hazzle with bringing back girls.
  2. They are pretty much the same but I like Dynasty better. The girl issue is what tip my choice of hotel to Dynasty, location same, rooms pretty much the same, more option in Phachara, nicer pool but cold and much in shadow. And you get nice balcony rooms in both hotels.
  3. Last time I stayed at Phacara Suites they had a strange rule of one girl in 24 hours. And it was as I understood a rule that they enforced, I think 700tbh if 24 hours rule was broken, pissed me of so I moved after 3 days, back to Dynasty where I usually stay when in Bangkok. Dynasty is far better in my opinion, you can bring as many girls you like during the day/night and as long you only have one at the time no problem, 500tbh each girl extra than the one you are allowed.
  4. Both hotels are great, I have stayed at both several times, first trips on Majestic but last 6 trips on Dynasty Grande. The rooms with balcony are my favorite. But you cant get wrong on any of them. Best rate book directly to hotel.
  5. I stayed there for 2 nights in 2015, it is ok, and I had no problems bringing back girls, but I prefer the neighbor hotel Dynasty Grande. Better service, cleaner rooms, and nice pool.
  6. Yes it is girlfriendly, stayed there many times. It is not a new hotel, but ok, the hotel is on both side of soi 15, main building you walk pass the reception, the other building just a security man. A short 10 minutes walk to nana and soi cowboy, but they have a shuttle to main road.
  7. They are both hotels that are ok to me. Only stayed one at Aspen but several times at Royal President. I prefer the Royal President of these two, ok rooms nice lokated betwin nana and cowboy. 10 minutes easy walk to both. If you stay at the Royal President in the suites you dont have to go by reception when entering your room. Only a security guard who check ID if you bring back girls.
  8. Phacara Suites on soi 6 and Hotel Solo on soi 2 have balcony. Both are nice hotels and very much gf.
  9. Stayed at Royal President several times. Never any problems bringing back girls. I have only stayed in the building across the street from reception. A little run down but nice big rooms, good a/c. Security keeps the girls id. Pool is located on ground floor behind reception freezing cold with no sun. Tall buildings surround it. But in all nice and close to both Nana and SC.
  10. Stayed there for a week in mid october. No construction on the hotel at that time. You could send them a mail, they respond quickly and will hopefully tell you if something noisy work is in progress.
  11. There are a lot of good options in the lower sukhumvit area for the same price, and it is only 5-6 minutes from nana or asoke to siam square with the skytrain. I always stay in this area when in Bangkok.
  12. On my last visits to BKK I have used the Royal President, slightly old interior, but nice clean room for a desent price and good location, 10 minutes walk to Asok and Nana station. You can find many hotels better located and cheaper than this, but to me it is perfect. Look around on the forum and you get a lot of good advice.
  13. Adelphi Suites is girlfriendly, have stayed there a few times, very nice hotel and very nice location.
  14. Send them a mail and ask them of their policy. Then you will know. If not there are many others that are good standard and girl friendly. I normally use one of presidents hotel. Friendly and never any hazzel. last three stays at the Royal President. 10 minutes walk to nana and cowboy.
  15. Royal President on soi 15, 1600thb a night, guestfriendly and girl leaves id at securityguard (junior suite) President Palace on soi 11, 2000tbh a night, guestfriendly and girl leaves id at reseption (superior room) Have used these two hotels on my last two visits, never any trouble, and booked another stay at the Royal President for late march
  16. In general Bangkok is safe, but dont do stupied things. Having your laptop in your bag or suitcase is normal not a problem in daytime, but dont leave it unattended. Some areas are more trouble than other, but where there are lot of people there are few problems, exept maybe some pick pocket. I have never had any problems in any place, but I dont pretend having any values on me. In hotel put laptop and creditcard in room safe and only when you are alone. The stars of hotels is not always a security reason. First time in BKK I stayed in Montien Riverside, locked every value in room safe, vent out and when I returned later in the evening empty. I know it was some from the hotel staff but impossible to prove. This was my last night, so travelinsurance covered it and it did not ruined my trip. But this is not common. I am about to do my 30 trip to BKK soon and I am not worried, but I guard my back. Use rooms safe, take photo copy of passport and ticket. A good advice will be to always have a copy of your passport on you incase of any impact with police. If you are to go to Soi Cowboy stay out of the arab bars, they try to rip you every time. Never go with touts, they will always bring you to places you dont want to go to and cost you plenty of bath. Enjoy your trip.
  17. Totally agree on the Majestic Suites, imo the best place to stay in lower sukhumvit. Great location, no problems with overnight girls, some hotels are joiner free for one girl but charge for a second. No hazzel here, and the price is ok too.
  18. They have in the Grand Deluxe rooms, stayed here about 1 year ago. Dont know for any other room category, but on their webside they claims to have in all rooms. A good place to stay.
  19. 4. How are your policy on joiners in the room? Royal President is guest friendly and there is no charge for overnight staying guest. We only request ID card / Passport for secure reason only. This is the answer I got from them 2 days ago when I had to do a quick stop over in BKK. Nice place just 5 to 10 minutes walk to nana and asoke
  20. Bangkok Brasserie at the Star Inn hotel, Soi 7/1. Good and safe food for an ok price. I always try to get a meal or two here when I am in town
  21. Just booked 4 nights here, but after booking I where told by a friend that the booking where so so. He had showed up at the hotel with the confirmed reservation, but was told "sorry no room available" and was told to look for a room somewhere else. I have used Dynasty inn Pattaya several times and no hazzle what so ever, and the same with Dynasty Grande in BKK. Anyone have any knowledge of the Dynasty Inn Bangkok?
