  1. Checked in to this one for my last few days in BKK since it was cheap and near BTS+MRT. I paid about 1500BHT per night for the deluxe room.

Guest friendly and ladyboy friendly. When the guest checks in they do not call upon arrival/exit. Rooms are very basic and that of a 2 or 3-star hotel. The double bed I requested was just 2 single beds put together., so if you slept in the middle you could feel the split between them. The elevator is slow even though there are only 4 levels. Pool I did not bother checking. For a little bit more you can get much better imo.

Last februari I stayed at the Citrus Suites in soi 6. Nice location and the room was fine (executive suite). It should be well within your price range too.

Do you remember if this alley was open? I could have sworn the last time I was in Bangkok there was a gate blocking this road.

  3. Hey guys,

I have my 3rd trip planned for this August. Looking for recommendations on new hotels to try out and would like some hotels.

    So far I have tried

    • Adelphi - Good location, nice hotel, overpriced
    • Dream - Nice room, excellent buffet, terrible bathroom
    • Continent Boutique - Okay, but very overpriced and poor sound deadening

I prefer to book 4-5 star hotels but am open-minded to 3 stars if it punches above its weight. Preferably no more than 2500 baht a night but should be easy during low season.

A few I am looking at.

    • Hope land Soi 8 - A little further down from Adelphi, looks like it has massive rooms for very competitive pricing
    • Eleven Hotel Soi 11 - Seems to be in the middle of the soi 11 action, am a little concerned about noise
    • Aira - Same as Eleven Hotel
    • SQ Boutique - Close to both train lines but seems expensive for how tiny the rooms are? Perhaps they are of good quality,
    • Futurama Xclusive - Close to MRT, seems like its a bit far from all the FL mongering locations

  4. Reviving an old thread.

The way I see it, it does not matter which country you go to. If you are not there to benefit the country economically in some way, you are not welcome. Why should people accept you if you are just a burden to them and their country? If you come to my country, Australia and you are poor and require government assistance (using taxpayer's money) then it will be known you are not welcome here.

  5. Hi guys,

Planning my first trip to Bangkok. I plan to bring "guests" back to my hotel room both women and LBs. I understand you need to book a room for 2 to avoid joiner fees.

Generally speaking to bring girls and LBs back is it better to get a 4 star or 5 star hotel room or does it not really matter. Also is https://guestfriendlyhotels.com a good guide to see which hotels are guest friendly or is it outdated.
