  1. I'm there right now as of today. Very pleased with the room/cost. I just checked out of The Ambassador on Suk soi 11 which was also ok room/cost but this is a nice step up. Very peaceful so far. I hit the gym and was able to have a moderate workout for whats available. The treadmills are a tad on clunky side but adequate. A fair number of dumbbell assortment and like 6 machines. Checked out the pool. Has a classy, clean look to it on the roof. You could maybe do laps in it but looks max of 6 feet on deep end hehe. Looks nice with pool overhang with a sunbathe perimeter. Hope that helped.????
  2. Thanks willow to clarify that. Man, it really seems they are wasting the potential Clark has. Oh, and i ended up eating my ticket and started fresh so i could add an extra week, hehe. I commend United Airlines for goving me what amounts to 40% retirn on the old ticket..and applied to my new ticket. Pretty stoked I'm arriving a week early.????
  3. Thanks for the info Samjet777 and Kimao. Hehe, i know I'm stretched kinda thin to do both AC and subic. I'm going a bit out of my way to meet a good friend there in subic. To me, subic is a gem which gives me a feeling of peace there. To boot, it's the cheapest place to hang out. I really like the girls attitudes there and feel to have a great pick. In December, i expect next to no farang competition and low bf hehe.I won't likely find 10's lol, but plenty of 7's and 8's.???? I love Angeles too, but a few days is plenty for me to do some hard partying.???? I was hoping to add those days for more wiggle room. Would i check with the departing Airline out of Bkk? In general, a fresh ticket at this point, with extension to nearly xmas..ticket prices have doubled..hmm.
  4. Thanks again. Hmm, rather then start a new topic I'd like to ask if anyone has ever changed their airline ticket afterwards? I just found out i can extend my vacation 4 days...but never tried adjusting an airline return date before..anyone to experience with that? Was it possible, or very costly???????????
  5. That was awesome info. Thankyou! I am a little nervous but booked my first ever online because the price was so good! Philippines Airlines nonstop rt 224$ Haha, terminal 2 and no risk of bullet scams.????Cheers Samjet????
  6. Ok thanks. I've checked out Air asia and wow, what's with the long layovers? I'm trying not to kill an entire day just getting to the PI hehe. And thanks again. I feel selfish in asking so many questions but contributing little. If anyone replies and is in Bangkok in December.. I'm happy to buy ya a round lol.????
  7. I've had time to decide. After reading everything in here, i want to split my trip 9 days in bkk and 9 days in olongapo,ac. Now, i need get a ticket inside a ticket. So, is anyone familiar with rates round trip from Bangkok to PI.? Lol, i have never bought a ticket online and I'm afraid to haha. So, when i land in Bkk i will get one. What airline might do a reasonable rate to clark ab, which would be a better landing spot.. Any help with this would be appreciated.I have friends there, and I'm a bit homesick to that area.????
  8. Thanks for the suggestions and a heads up. Much appreciated.lol, i wonder why i call it a vacation when i will probably need rest from it hehe. Alot to squeeze in.????
  9. I'm hoping for good luck in my stay in Thailand hotels. I really am of the opinion that to find a room that is pleasing and without issue should not be taken for granted. Lol, it's amazing how much can go wrong to a room.
  10. Ok. Good to know smith and outlandish thanks! Buttviking, the map from your link has become my bible of sorts. I actually feel like i know the area some now. That should be stickied!(or maybe it is?). After two days of browsing a hundred hotels of various prices ranges and wieghing locations out my eyes feel like they may explode. I can see a big quality difference between the 50 and 70$ a night. I finally decided and booked at pachara with tax and all 65$ a night. Bathtubs are soo handy!???? Thanks all again.????
  11. Scoobydook, thanks alot. Many questions were answered on Buttvikings link. Wow, thanks. Ok, just one very plain question and definitely newb question. Is Sukhumvit Road hard to cross? That would wiegh in on choice of hotel. Seeing as massage parlors are spread a bit, i would be happy to be in the vicinity of soi 13. I'm more of a walking type and don't mind a little exercise. I can see using bts to patpong if i go there..????
  12. Hi,after sifting thru alot of the hotel posts in here,i have not found an answer to this specifically. A bonus would be if it had a gym/pool and under 60$ U.S. Big fan of massages???? Thanks-
