I'm thinking to book this hotel for my next trip. Anyone been there can say something about it ?
thank you

if you arrive in DMK around 10,30 expect to be around Nana not before midnight...

Obviously, everyone is different, and i don't know what kind of shoes you wear. Ive been around lower suk so much that i don't want to live there. It's a tourist ghetto, not authentic. Everthing is more expensive, and i get a bad vibe hanging around there day after day. Like people start to recognize you and think "there's that pervert again." Thai people in normal neighborhoods are more friendly. i never bring one nightstands to my home. If she's good value then ok, but some of them are nuts and i don't want them knocking on my door. Its pretty sweet to have some favorites you can drop a line to and they come for a visit. Without the bar bs.
Around Suitisan is good because there's plenty of girls available around there if you have some thai language skills, close to many massage parlours. Food and rent is cheaper and better, and your not just a sex tourist. Close to bts or mrt and after hours a taxi home from nana is less then 100B. Be wary of freelancers until you know them a little, you probably won't find them again if they swipe something... and avoid balconies. khow jai mai?
why avoid balconies ? something related to thieves ? just curious....
-
I was considering this hotel. girlfriend smokes, their website says smoke free hotel, so a no go
most of the hotels are smoke free....but there's the balcony ;)

Hey guys, I am landing at swampy at 1pm on 31st Dec, going to drop my bag at some hostel because it doesn't matter, I won't be back until 4am except to have a shower and change a shirt because I will be ready to PAAARTY!
So this is my plan unless I find a specially organised party by the BA board members:
2-4pm walk along Sukumvit, drop into the malls, just get a feel for the city as I haven't been there in 5 years. Get a normal massage.
4-6pm Find the best soapy nuru massage sideline girl and bang the shit out of her.
6-8 Change clothes and chill.
8-midnight Head to Nana plaza, find the BA boys, maybe go to Cowboy just to have a look and a drink. Fireworks? Countdown?
midnight to 4am - Find where the backpackers are, I have never been to Bangkok Insomnia if it is still around, or wherever the party is at, find some drunk travelling slut, dance a bit then take her to the nearest hotel and bang the shit out her.
6am - 11am - Sleep.
11am-noon get back from Hostel. Take taxi/bus to Pattaya and check in for the week of debauchery. Sleep some more.
If this sounds like a decent plan, PM me your Thai number or email and I will hit you up once I have a Thai number at in the afternoon.
Hey Zanny....nice profile picture, who's that lovely girl ?

fully agree with nakhon. The sea is brownish very similar to Pattaya

Also have to say that my flights with Ryanair in Europe have been much more more uncomfortable than AirAsia and Bkk Airways
-
i've flight with both AirAsia and Bangkok Airways and even if i'm nearly 5'90" x 82kg i didnt find the seat VERY uncomfortable....anyway in my personal opinion even if was very uncomfortable this do not justify to spend 9000 baht more for just 1 hour and so of flight.
For sure if it was a longest flight this would have been a problem.
-
Are you 6'3"?
no, about 5'90''
-
The Nana area is quiet in the middle between the 2 Bkk airports.... minutes more or less you will always need about 30 mins. But in my opinion better to move little bit earlier because of the traffic...
-
AirAsia from DMK...1600 baht round trip. 1h 20 mins of flight
no see any reason to pay a business class 10k baht for only 1 hour trip...
-
Does anyone know what the cheapest way is to get a 30 days or more visa when going to thailand?
the 30 days is free at arrival, for more you need to go to thai ambassade in your country
-
Ok thanks. I've checked out Air asia and wow, what's with the long layovers? I'm trying not to kill an entire day just getting to the PI hehe.
And thanks again. I feel selfish in asking so many questions but contributing little. If anyone replies and is in Bangkok in December.. I'm happy to buy ya a round lol.
Sorry....didnt check the layovers of AirAsia. Anyway in the website (Momondo) you can find different nonstop fly from Bkk to Mnl for similar prices
-
Air Asia fly from Bangkok to Manila for about 4000 baht. Maybe there are some cheapest company
Try to check momondo.com to have a better idea of rates and companies
-
no reason for splitting, and also no reason to pack again the bag after 4 days to move....is worth moving only if you no stay good in the first hotel...in my opinion
-
Peppina in Soi 33 is probably the best napolitan pizza in bkk
but also pala pizza romana in Asoke Junction and Pizzeria Limoncello in soi 11 are ok.
Tryed also pizza from Via Vai in soi 8...average pizza
Best place for exchanges rates? airport or banks?
