Danok sucks. Was there not too long ago and the scene is oriented towards Singaporeans and Malaysians. Girls with some rough attitudes and the farang is not always welcomed and the girls aren't all that friendly. Eh, different strokes for different folks.

Samui is getting worse these days. Still lots of nightlife in Chaweng and Lamai. If you've never been go and enjoy but be careful on the bike if you decided to ride. Lots of sand and crazy driver isn't a good combo.

Suksan Mansion is right across the street from Ruysuk on a quiet soi. 350 last time I stayed there.
