Is it too far from the street where main action takes place? (girls and bars?) How much on foot?

Hello, may someone suggest an guest/girl friendly apartment or hotel to stay in Pattaya with good price for 6 nights in January? Price/night should be less then 60 USD/night. If finding a place with price like that is not possible, then would you suggest taking two rooms in some hotel? Should be near enough to the street where girls are :) Thanks in advance
