I stayed there om my last trip in 2016. I found it very quiet and very clean, the room was nice, as you say a bit small if anything but that doesn't bother me. The room furnishings were nice with a good walk in shower. I would stay there again, the location is great. The staff were nice and helped me out with printing out some emails and didn't want any payment from me.

I have flown EVA numerous times LHR to BKK direct, always economy aisle seat and always had a good experience.
